Yesterday was horrible for me >.< Aside from the fact that it's "slow season" here in Vegas and last night there was next to no traffic, I decided to put some of the tips I've been reading in HH into action with one of the guys I actually did sit with. Long story short I sat down with him when I first got onto the floor and when asked about dances, I started high (VIP prices) and only mentioned the LD price when he asked. He seemed interested but iffy on the price for VIP so I decided to sit with him and butter him up since nothing else was going on. Well, he ended up doing 3 LDs and just when I pretty much KNEW I could close on him, he tells me I'm the kinda girl he'd like to hang out with OTC (which I had previously said I don't normally do) and that he's gonna check out some other girls..! This two hours after I first sat down, mind you! I brushed it off although I was pretty salty and then asked him for a tip to which he says "Don't ruin it." O.O Sooo I walked away at this point. Normally I would've thanked him and asked him if there was another girl I could get for him but the wasted time literally killed my mood..! In hindsight I'm sure he sensed my subconscious shift in attitude and I wonder if that had something to do with him not at least tipping but I say this to say.. At what point do you determine a customer is no longer worth sitting with when they are seemingly interested? Had he eventually done the VIP I wouldn't have felt my time was wasted at all [especially since it was so dead anyway] but to end up getting a total of 3 dances in 2 hours was the ultimate buzzkill

Sorry for the novel lol hopefully this is the right thread for this post

I logged on to write about my last night's shift but I see I already did that after work while drunk. I'm impressed with myself for being such a coherent drunk.

Most of the good clubs around here have a 10 or 15 minute rule about sitting with customers. If they're not spending, after that amount of time you have to move on. I try to follow that rule even at clubs where it isn't enforced, regardless of how busy or dead it is. It's not uncommon for me to introduce myself, have them say "maybe later" or whatever for dances, but then after I move along they'll change their mind and be looking for me/asking the floor hosts.

Also the second they mention OTC it's just a quick sale or I'm outta there. I don't think I have ever had a customer who inquired about OTC early on not be pushy and aggressive during dances.

At this point in my career, I would rather miss out on a potential sale than have my time wasted. I can always work more shifts, but free energy given to a customer is something I can never get back. If there is nobody else to go hustle I'll chat with one of the girls/staff I like instead, or go read or whatever in the DR for a bit. In a lot of clubs the DJ is one of my favorite people to chat with when it is slow, not necessarily because I like them (altho some are awesome), but because their booth often well-situated for watching most of the club without sitting on the floor like "girl who is unwanted".

I'm actually almost in mid-shift. So far so good. One of my favorite regulars came in. I learned that the lady in the original Starbucks logo has boobs. Learn something new every day.
Drama queen is suspiciously absent. I'm surprised. Wondering if she got suspended and I just haven't found out about it yet. It wouldn't surprise me.
It's just nice having work without the drama.

Well the rest of the shift was good. Another one of my favorite regulars came in. He made me laugh so much. We couldn't stop laughing during the dances.

It was a nice, calm, productive day.

Thursday night was slow with the bad weather but I made decent money due to a couple regulars Did 3 dances. After talking with my manager, I think I'll work on Thanksgiving this year.

...there were some serious weirdos in today. I danced for one and actually cut him off at 3 songs. He was such a rude and offensive person. He was shocked I cut him off. He paid and left. His energy was so negative, I could not even deal with him. Did not like his vibe. This was the first time I ever had to cut anyone off.

The rest of the day was okay. Good stage tipper was generous with the girls and me at first, but after he drank a few, he morphed into a total dick.

It was that kind of day. Thankfully, they are few and far between.

I'm saging my house right now lol.

Stripper commercial: "Save $50 on house by the DJ forgetting to write your name on the list".
"People jack off with the left hand and point with the right."

"You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave."

Why do poor friends always have to interrupt their rich friends when they are spending money D:

Seriously dude don't kill your friend's vibe just because your card was declined for less than $50 at the bar and u had to go to the atm several times to pay for dances with some other girl. Your friend was vibing with me and asked me to continue dancing until I had to leave for the night. You stomping over angrily and reminding him of the dance prices and noticing we had done more one dance was ridiculous. He obviously knew the prices and came to spend when he gave me a large tip on stage in front of you.

Seriously was he jealous of his friend or something? It's kinda sad when you think about it.

Slow weird weekend unfortunately. The Taboo Sex Show is in town so i think it was pulling a lot of customers away, and the ones we did get were the same ones who would go to that kinda show and be like "oooooh look at all these weirdos" then come to the strip club and be like "We're getting so ~wild~" while not tipping or getting dances and staring at the strippers like we're zoo animals.

Anyways Saturday night I did end with an okay but far from amazing number of dances, from a polite, cute guy who smelled nice and was clearly sent to me by Stripper Jesus.

There was a couple annoying girls on this lineup though. One asked me how many dances I did on Saturday and I was like "meh I guess it was okay" but she pushed me for numbers and then was like "wtf that is 'meh'??? I did zero". Well don't ask for numbers if you don't want to hear them. I have pretty high expectations of myself and the fact that you didn't do any has nothing to do with the fact that I didn't do as many as I would have liked.

And the other one was just so gross it annoyed me. Like the kind that shits in the dressing room bathroom which I thought was like a universal thing you don't do. And spent most of the weekend whining about how management repeatedly mentioned things like having hair and makeup done for ALL shows, and actually being on the floor during floor time, etc etc and how all these rules are unfair. Well if you don't wanna look like you put in any effort, go work in a club that doesn't expect these things. There's a ton of girls who would like to take your spot and wouldn't have a problem with actually looking like a stripper. Personally I like working clubs that actually enforce the rules they have written down. They were there when you signed the contract, it's not like they're a surprise.

It was a boring shift so I thought I have no financial need for keep stripping and I'm burning out so, I might take some time off this. I have to admit I thought this comeback would be for just a month and I have been dancing for 8 months. Suddenly going out to a club and dancing while wearing something and not just shoes is appealing.

Wow, way to live in Christ's footsteps, bro. I directed him to the ATM and thanked him for his prayers.

I also had an Indian guy hunt me down and ask for my company. He immediately began asking me questions about if I have a boyfriend, if I fuck him, and if I let him fuck me hard--without having paid me anything yet. At the same time as that last question (all in quick succession), he reached to touch my breast, so I said it was lovely to meet him but I had to be going. He attempted to hold me down so that I wouldn't leave, but I elbowed him off. He then followed me about forty seconds after I left to try to convince me to dance for him and argue about why I wouldn't, promising he'd only touch me during the dances he'd totally buy if I came back. No thanks. I said if he persisted, I would get a manager, so he left. When he and his friend (who was sitting at their table with his fucking SHOES OFF) were finally leaving, I was on stage. The creeper started cussing me out from the floor. Cool.
    Oh the religious ones!! lol

...was a total shit show. Psycho dancer was there, along with her two buddies, and apparently the three of them are doing a great job of pissing everyone off, including customers. They are running our club into the ground. I worked day shift, made ok money, and by the time I left at shift change, it was pretty much those 3 dancers, plus maybe 3 other dancers, and 3 customers. On a Saturday night. The negativity is fucking up the vibe and money in the club. When those 3 dancers aren't there, everyone is having fun. Amazing how 3 people can clear out a club. Unreal. Might be time to look for a new club until those 3 are fired.

Took the last ten days off to visit a friend and prepare for a big test which I aced. Been working hard since the summer. Last night was my first night back. It was really really slow. I was working with some old sharks who started at my club six months ago when theirs closed. I remembered a couple weeks ago when I was working with them on a Monday they went up to all the customers first and there was nothing left for me. I did it to them this time- not with every customer but with two who looked like they might be good. I heard them talking shit but whatever I put in my time here, bitch it's my turn.

Omg, this reminded me of a time a group of cops came into my club for a bachelor party, asked me to dance for the bachelor, he was enjoying it so I stayed for two songs. The level of indignation from his buddies when I tried to get paid was completely over the top! Like screaming in my face about what a con artist I was. They ended up getting kicked out not long after. I've also had plenty of sweet gentleman cop customers and a lot who don't like to disclose their occupation at first because they're aware of the stigma. But yeah the bad apple cops are just a whole nother level of bad.

Saturday night was my first night back in over a year. I got a corporate job and left the club. Now I'm going to try to work one night a week to help destroy my student loans and have a good time being my deviant self. I told myself I would just see how Saturday went and decide if I would slip back into it. It turned out to be my best night ever. I left with $1020 after five hours, blowing my previous best night out of the water. Everyone was saying yes and doing at least three dances, then I found one guy who took me to VIP for the last hour and a half.

It was the sign I was hoping for. I'm back! As long as I can figure out this double life thing.

Peaceful, productive, fun. Great tippers, steady flow of money coming in. It was one of those nights when I was feeling the "performance high". Nights like this reminded me of why I love dancing. Made 400 easily. Wish every day was like this and I'm so happy because last week was shit. So I'm very grateful for today. Thank you Universe.
