I had so much fun last night but I drank too much. It started off crappy but then I made some Mexicans buy me tequila shots and turned on BITCH MODE. I just started making fun of guys and being arrogant and made them give me $$. One guy did 8 dances and then a half hour CR because I convinced him that rubbing my lower back was turning me on. After that just dragged more guys in the back. Did my last couple dances for a Filipino hottie. Great night for me

Really shit for a Saturday, but I'm trying to remember to be grateful for what I have. Everyone was nice, I had some genuinely cool conversations with people, and at the end of the shift I still made more in a night than my boyfriend makes all week.

Tonight was just weird. My home club was dead. There weren't more than 5 custys at a time for almost 3 hours, so I got a few dances, paid my fees and went to the sister club. I got two $10 dances, but ended up making crazy money on stage. Ok... A group of E Blok guys showed up and made it rain twice.

I got bored and went back to my home club. There was only 30 minutes until last call but I made another $70. I'm thrilled about that because I had just enough to cover my rent when I left the sister club and the money I made when I went back to my home club meant that I can buy groceries tomorrow.

My home club is taking a massive dive. The owners, in their infinite insanity about having a million girls, have brought back some incredibly horrible dancers. One is so batshit crazy and violent that she's been fired at least 6 times for either fighting or getting wasted on drugs and booze. She's usually so fucked up that its impossible to even understand her. But... She's back.

A new club is opening this week. I think I'm going to give that a shot sometime soon. I'm so sick of the bullshit.

I don't know WHAT is going on lately but I haven't broken $200 in any of my last 4 shifts. This is bullshit and getting on my nerves. It's a combination of too many girls and not enough guys and lately the broke ass party crowd has been spilling onto my day shift.

Today I was pissed to find 2 extras girls from my previous club auditioning (which consists partly of working the floor). We don't HAVE dirty girls, this is the cleanest club in the city, and I am not interested in letting it get dirty. I straight up told the manager that one of them gives hand jobs in VIP, so hopefully he doesn't hire her. The other one is ratchet as fuck, she worked with a black eye for a few days once, and today she was wearing a dress with the boobs cut out so her tits just hung out all the time... ack.

The only comfort I take is knowing that it's not just my club, all the other clubs are putting out ads for new dancers and obviously the girls are playing Musical Clubs, so it's just a slow point and I'll just have to ride it out... but I don't believe in season anymore.

I went to a new club today. It had been closed for a year after being gutted by a fire and reopened yesterday. I went in last night before my shift, just to check it out, and was asked to audition today. The daytime manager hired me before even seeing me on stage. Woo!

I got a dance from every single customer that came in between open and 2 pm, when I took a break, and 70% of those who were there between 5 and 8. I was beat from working late last night and kind of frazzled but I made double on a dead day shift than I did most nights this week.

And... I love the club. It's upscale, absolutely beautiful and the staff is awesome. Management is cool, fair and accommodating. They're picky about the dancers they hire, so no wasted asshole new girl crap. I've worked with the bartender before and she's a doll. There are still kinks to be worked out but it's a million times better than the clubs I've worked at.

The stage fees are really high. REALLY high. But I tjink it'll be worth it.

Had my first shift tonight. I'm working at a club that hosts bux nights doing "lingerie waitressing" but it's essentially stripping but with no pole. We set our own prices for lapdances and there's a private room to do them in. I was working with a friend and we were only ment to do 2 hours but ended up staying for longer when two guys who managed a limo company came in and took us for dances. The actually bux party was a cheap bunch of assholes. One guy grabbed my ass so hard multiple times through out the night that I have bruises?! No one from the party was spending money, so lucky those last two came in. Made $560 in the 40 ish minutes we spent with them and then split the money. For only 3 hours it felt like an eternity. Turns out I'm awful at keeping track of the time and how many songs we have done? Also pretty sure I lost money to the couch because I wasn't keeping track of what they were giving me.. Rookie mistakes.
Working again next Saturday so won't make those mistakes again..
One of the guys said he could see that I was thinking a lot? Like, how do I look like I'm not thinking too much? I didn't think I was, but apparently I had my concentration face on.. Haha

Did another shift at the new club last night and had similar success. Just selling table dances on a swing shift I made more than I usually make on a Friday night shift. Stage fees have to be prepaid, but... I just make sure I set the money aside for my next shift. Not that hard and I made it back in 30 minutes anyway.

The management are really hands off, the staff is really cool and all of the other dancers are very friendly. There are two other dancers and a waitress from my old club and... wouldn't you know, one of the dancers was sent home for getting drunk last night. I don't miss my old club one bit.

^ I'm so glad you're doing better! That other club sounded really stressful

It finally picked up yesterday... I made over my goal finally, but it took me all damn day into nightshift because for several hours we had 26 girls on (which is a HUGE number for my club, 15 is about the max we can do while all of them making decent money) and I could not for the life of me catch anyone who wasn't either waiting for a girl or hadn't already been tapped out. So while I made goal, I could have probably gone home 3 hours earlier had there been a normal amount of girls.

Don't get me wrong though, definitely grateful to have finally made good $$

Yeah, I didn't want to acknowledge just how awful it was until I went elsewhere. It wasn't even the trashiness, the drugs or the extras that did me in. It was the disrespect.

I never caused problems. I don't drink or do drugs, so I was always sober at work. When I have had to take medication at work, I told the manager what it was, the dose and kept the empty prescriprion bottle with me for proof that it was legal. I never left the club owing money. I was never fined. I missed my stage maybe... 2-3 times in the entire year I worked there. I drove drunk dancers home, broke up fights, degreased the poles, posed for the calendar, handled customer complaints. I went out of my way to be cool. But, when I asked to be a bartender... :::crickets:::

The last straw was when I'd been asking to bartend for over a month and they put a dancer, who'd been there for a few months, behind the bar. Bartenders get access to a private locker room and no stage fees when they dance. They didn't even turn me down, but just ignored me. Fuck that. When I called the owner about being harassed by a manager, I was bitched out for not tipping enough.

My new club was designed to have a dancer friendly locker room. They won't hire girls who are on drugs and send drunk girls home immediately. Security walks me to my car after every shift and, when I offered a tip, it was accepted, but I was told that this is what my 10% tipout pays for. The managers are all professional and respectful, as are security. The DJ staff is getting the bugs worked out but they make an effort to play dubstep and are interactive with us. This is how a club should be and I'm always happy to go in to work.

My last shift was nothing short of painful. February is SUPPOSED to be the upswing from the sad state of January but its just not happening. We were overbooked with girls and even during the couple busy times of the night the guys either weren't spending at all or were only getting single dances. I've noticed the overall customer demographics have shifted lately, from primarily Hispanic to white and under 35...this does not do me any favors My old foot fetish customer came in but unfortunately I had to cut him loose a while back...apparently some girls were discounting dances and letting him be nasty and I wont do either of those. Thanks for ruining a good customer girls. My saving grace was a friend of a friend making it rain on me and a creepy guy at the end of the night that literally emptied his wallet on me. The struggle is real. Counting down the days til the upcoming convention.

Today was my first shift I didn't make that much but it was partly my own fault since i didn't speak to many dudes and the ones I did weren't interested. I finally got a guy to get dances from me and it was this Indian dude and he was way too handsy and was doing some weird sniff and kiss thing all over my back ugh. I kept having to redirect his hands away from no go zones and at one point he had me in some where grip where I could barely move. I got up to take my bottoms off and dance a bit, and his dick is out. I promptly tell him that I we would get in trouble blah blah blah and he puts it away. So basically my first custy was a mega creep. I hope my next shift has a higher customer turn over rate

I notice a trend of "more girls" in almost every post. Club owners see the Gorgeous college girls coming back and want that Stage "Eye Candy". With this, it brings younger crowds who rate the club well for looks of the girls, but quality of company is not ever mentioned. The older, more stable ( hopefully married) and working men are getting a bit more rare too. Club managers selling stage time gets some of the new girls to the stage on time, but table work is hard with extra girls on. Booth work is still ok but have to search out the right customers, its more than a "hustle" these days, its an ART Form !

I went to the dive I planned on working at tonight and only stayed like 30 minutes before I went back to the other club. The dive was completely empty and barely any girls were there. The ones who were there were saying how dead its been lately. It's saturday night so I didn't want to risk a shitty night!

I got to the other club around 8 and didn't make any money until 11 ish. I'm happy with what I went home with, it's just frustrating when you make NO money for 3 hours. Overall the night was pretty good. There were some customers who weren't spending but it was pretty busy so I managed to make money still. I'm feeling better and not so much burnout anymore.

Usually I go to bed when I get home but I feel like drinking water and watching the History Channel for a little bit.

Seriously, like half of the skill of stripping is keeping your attitude positive until the money arrives. It's easy to walk into your shift and start hustling a busy club. But when you walk in and there aren't any customers for 3+ hours, it's much harder to start hustling when customers finally start arriving! It's super hard to not come across as desperate, bored, and pissed off when you've been sitting around in a dead club with nothing to do, and suddenly you only have a few hours to make all of your money.

^ Exactly! But my problem was just guys saying no. There were customers but nobody was spending on me for a while. It's so easy to just say fuck it and leave early it's definitely a challenge to stick it out. The last couple hours until closing are always the time to make money though.

It's been hard to make decent money at my club since January, and on a whim I decided I'd go back to working Sunday nights because they are usually so mellow when football isn't on tv. To my surprise I sell VIP from the first time I go on stage and I dance the rest of the night. I ended up breaking $1000 for the first time!!! OMG I was fucking beaming and cheerful and at the end of the night my manager gave me back my house fee because I was one of the first girls to sign in and I always stay the whole shift. It doesn't even feel real. Last week it was hard to get to $200 on a night shift. I feel like I hit a major dancing landmark.

Tonight was slow but profitable. I have an average at this club and I made just over it. No complaints. All of my bills are caught up and I can work on getting ahead this month. I keep saying that but I have a lot more confidence that it'll happen.

I ran into some girls that I haven't seen in a LONG time. They were all fired from my old club for various reasons and it was interesting to see them again. A lot of girls from my old clubs have come through and, so far, only three or four of us have made it past the first day.

RIGHT?!!!! This reason alone is why I'm the latest to come in every shift I work & am usually paying a higher housefee than most of the other girls working that night. There's nothing I hate more than sitting in an empty club w/ nothing to do for hours on end, fucks up my hustle badly when they do show up bc I'm like a shark & pounce right away.

^Me too, hate when that happens. But last weekend was decent money wise only I got too drunk apparently and lost my phone again, I hate that this keeps happening to me, I have to pay 200$ for a new one every damn time. I tracked it yesterday and only could once, I think the person who has it turned it off cause they saw my tracking it, dicks! Also, I saw that they texted someone back from my phone one of the nights, so annoying, I was holding out hope it was just in my car or something, now I know its gone Oh well.

Yeah, it's really hard not to feel like a desperate loser when you've been sitting around waiting for customers for hours. That said, I always made great money from the easy pickings that wandered into the club at 6 pm before any of the other dancers had gotten ready. Those were the fastest hustles, because there was nothing else going on. I'd often make $100 and get a nice ego boost from successful sales before any of the other girls even showed up! It just depends on the club and your personal work style, whether it's worth it or not to be sitting around.
