Angry "Business Men" who go to dives...are the biggest joke!!!"

Okay ladies, so the very first club that I worked at, and unfortunately still work at from time to time, is a dive. Working there for 3 months, I have noticed something interesting about the business men who go there...or "business men".

I noticed many men...who go to dives all dressed up, are full of it. I feel that these men do this on purpose to attract girls to him, and many of times he does not have money like the girls think he has.

So the girla think "Wow, he is all dressed up! He MUST have some money!!" So girls are flying over there like birds. Now many dancers in dives are very patient...and I was one of them, with the men who were dress becuase they feel that if they rush him into dancing, they will lose out, and by sitting with him, he will give her a big chunk of money for being his company.

So guy buys the girl a drink and talks about how he goes to all of thess famous top dollar clubs, complain about the dive...than 30 minutes later..."Oh, well I need to get going, nice meeting you!" And the dancer is looking ceazy becuase at the end she spent all that time for nothing.

I feel that most real high rollers will only go to the top notch clubs in the city and will spend major cash. Idk how many time I ran into a guy who will say, "Well, I spend $1000 at Spearmint Rhino, Ricks NYC, (insert the most upscale club of the city) and come to the dive and spend $20,-$50 dance inclued.

Have you all noticed that too?

I see it all of the time. Which is why you have to ask the right questions within 5 minutes of meeting instead of wasting your time. I believe big spenders are actually not flashy. They don't come to the club just to show off, they're not attention seekers.

Ohh yes these type are well known for being broke. On cam sites it's pretty similar to the guys with "cash, gold, money, etc in their name". Usually any guy with a similar screen name will never spend a dime. They come in chat really large, use the caps lock as if their life depended on it all in hopes of dragging out attention from a cam model that would ignore them. When they show up and type I just ignore them.

Most men don't really want to sit in a suit at a strip club and no one is typically in that much of a hurry after work to go dressed that way. Those broke types go to play a game on the dancer using the "look like money" game.

This. In the majority of cases, from dive to fancy upscale club, dudes who show up looking like they're rich (ie. in a suit) aren't there to drop real cash, just get some free attention and feel like a big shot. Most of my high rollers have shown up in casual attire - a polo, shorts, even sneakers sometimes.

You should not be sitting w/ someone for 30 mins unless you already know you are getting paid. I do not ever sit w/ anyone longer than 3 or 4 songs at the max without having gotten a feel for them. Not only are you wasting your time, but you also potentially hurting others chances w/ him. While, I do agree that I hate these particular time wasters a great deal -I must say that just because his hustle worked on you, doesn't mean that another dancer won't be able to juice him.

Helpful hint, usually the guys talking about how much money they spend or bragging about other status things are usually broke or they have all that kind of money because they are incredibly cheap.

Yeah, I learned that one pretty quickly. The only business men who dress kinda fancy at dives who will actually spend money are usually out-of-town travelers who end up at the dive cuz they don't really know the area. And they generally don't talk about their business and traveling much beyond questions you ask. I feel like the guys who go on and on about how loaded they are and how they travel all over the country to the best strip clubs... probably just live in the next town over lol

Guys that go to dives in a suit, to me, are hoping the girls swarm them and their intention is to put up a facade of having money and wanting to spend it even if they don't hence, more attention from the dancers who aren't used to 'suits' in their blue-collar club. So yeah, for me, they are a joke usually.

Unless its lunch hour or immediately after work (around 5 or 6pm), there is no reason for him to be wearing a suit or extra flashy.

And just because someone is rich, doesn't mean they are generous and will spend. And just because someone is generous, doesn't mean that you are his type or someone he wants to spend on. Spenders are just a gamble.

Although looks can [sometimes] be decieving, in my experience, any customer who decides to roll up to a SC at 1AM in a suit, is sometimes just trying to desperately compensate for where he's most probably lacking - his wallet.
A couple of these "businessmen" came in at about 11:00 on a weeknigt about a week ago. They sat at te tables in te back, drinking soda, and rejecting EVERY single dancer that approached them with the bullshit excuse that they were there for the purpose of "just talking business."
Maybe I'm crazy, but of all the places you could choose to go to "talk business," you choose a strip club, and ultimately don't even make the effort to enjoy it for its INTENDED purpose?
For someone to enter a strip club with no intention of acknowleding te naked women around them, is pretty much the same as me going into a McDonald's to admire the floor tiling...

My experience has been the guys who look like average joes are the ones with money to spend. Suits usually means in my experience they want you to think they have money. The one exception is if it's a club near white collar jobs and it's during lunch but rarely are these dives.

I've never worked at a dive so I don't have much experience on that... as far as suits go, of course you will see some guys in suits willing to spend money during lunch hour. I've also encountered several out-of-towners wearing suits who had money to spend.

From my experience, the most paying customers (except one) I ever had were dressed very casual. It happened that I was sometimes very surprised about how well they tipped me afterwards. My regulars who are wealthy business owners often prefer to dress down and stay low profile when they're not at work.

Yes.It doesn't just happen in Dives, either!
And agree about the 'Farmer Joe'. Not all rich guys dress up. And guys dressed like students. Appearances can be decieving! And some guys who don't look like they have money, DON'T have 'money', but they'll spend what they do have, on you! Some of the wealthiest guys I know are wealthy because they don't and never have spent £ on being flashy.

I don't work in a dive, but here's my two cents on guys in suits {assuming it's not 5/6 o'clock right after work} 1. the majority of the time, they are compensating for something - not having money, being insecure about themselves, or a few other reasons - usually they just want to suck you in and get the most out of their free time with you or try to nickel and dime you or 2. they're not there for themselves - ie taking out clients or what not - this can be great if it's the case - there's one regular who takes a lot of his client's to the strip club. When he's in a suit - he's taking his client's out. The first time I met him - he was actually in jeans, flip flops and an Atari t-shirt - the Atari shirt stuck in my head, don't know why. But I would have never guessed that he had more than $100 bucks to his name, but boy was I wrong... never judge a book by its cover for the most...

I haven't worked a dive in a long time but boy do I remember the attention seeking suit wearing free loaders! There was this one memorable case who got off on sitting like a miserable bump on a log and dismissing girls left and right pretending he was the fricken owner lmao. He swore he'd never talk to me again if I got my boobs done, killed two birds with one stone there lol.

With a guy that's dressed up the best thing you can do is find out where he came from and/or what his plans are for the evening. If he came from work or work dinner/function or out with clients as Kari mentioned he is probably itching to undo his tie for a bit and have some fun. Other possible good scenarios could be a delayed flight, heading home from a wedding, or even a funeral. If his destination is the club don't waste time on him.

Ladies...I had an experience at work today. A man came in wearing a suit...did not buy one dance!!!

Hours later...a man who just left his labor job in his uniform blew over $300 on drinks and dances.

Yeah, I listened to a guy in business clothes brag about being rich and getting an awesome promotion for three songs before being maybe later-ed. He only tipped me on stage (and of course he wanted each dollar's worth), only bought dances from me (later, of course!), and had one or two drinks total. He spent well under $100 over several hours of sitting there "maybe later"-ing me each time I made the rounds and nope-ing every other girl. Meanwhile, a guy in jeans bought five dances from me and tipped me everything that was left in his wallet when he had to head back out for work. Oh, and he wasn't a pretentious dick trying to reason out cheating on his wife because he's in another state for business, so why deny himself something she'll never know about, and btw I'm staying at blahblahblah hotel. Killmenow.

I avoid suits for a myriad of reasons. The money is usually with the middle aged man wearing ill-fitted business casual attire and socks and sandals.
