But neither of us are black either (I'm a Native mix & the other girl is latina -so there's your race argument again). Now I don't know about LA, but I do know about many other areas & cities including Vegas & I know that being a thick, dark skinned, black girl is more than likely what is hindering her, unfortunately. While this industry luvs exotic women of many dif races as a seller, I have only seen it be kind to only a very small handful of dark skinned black girls & they totally had to almost play a barbie, white girl role to counter it. So fucked up.
Now, OP, I know this is not what your gonna wanna hear -but it is possibly to make a good income at a dirty club as a clean dancer if your an incredibly strong hustler. I also looked at your online pics & stuff. If these clubs are insisting you need more experience then possibly work at one of these extras clubs for alittle while & use it as a stepping stone while you continue to tone up & drop some more weight, until you can get into a club your really aiming for. I would even use your online sources & sites as a platform to get regulars into the club for you if possible. I could see these two being used as cross advertisement for you very nicely.
As I said, I know it's not what you wanna hear, but its something to mull over. I have always been a clean dancer & have worked in "dirty" clubs & cities & still made at did decent as well as a killing on some nights even & I have worked the whole gamut of dif types of clubs be it clean, dirty, dive, gown, or lingerie bar.Everyone likes a clean club, but sometimes we got take baby steps to get to our end goal. It sux, I know, but I wish you the best of luck. Also, I can not emphasize to continue trying & toning up & working out. I just dropped 15 -20lbs in liquor bloat & my earnings have jumped back up again & are waaay more consistent now. So, I have experienced both ends of that spectrum as well, myself.
