How can I tell if it's legit? I have agreed to anything but it seems that through email they have all their ends covered. What should I look for? If somebody could PM me with specifics, especially in the D.C. area it would be greatly appreciated!

Hi shades - have you read through some of the threads here regarding generals things to look for in an agency? There are a lot of threads with information. I would read all that I could before you actually start then follow up with some specific questions. i think someone recently posted about DC agencies but I'm not sure

I searched but didn't find anything really about what to look for in agencies, mostly for people trying to post themselves. I'd prefer an agency just since they know how to handle the booking and it saves me time and hassle. I've read through alot and I guess I'm more curious on what are typical business practices to look for, things a legitimate agency would never do/ say just red flags to look for before I agree to anything in person.
