On the topic of banks I heard credit unions are a better way to go?
However I know absolutely nothing and am only parroting something said sometime somewhere.

I'm just going to go so far as to say the time wouldn't even be worth it to hire a lawyer capable enough to begin to take this to court. You'd have to come to terms with the fact that you will NEVER see your money, again. There would be no class-action anything. You'd rack up more money in lawyers' fees in the first six months of pursuing it before they finally admitted nothing could be done. The story of the cam-owner who just spilt with ALL the revenue and disappeared is likely the most accurate scenario, in this case.
In the bigger picture of the courts, $10,000 is literally nothing. Lawyers wipe their asses with $10K in retainers, alone. A model would get laughed at if she walked into an office going on about how she lost $10K on the INTERNET. Oh yeah, and it's porn. And it's a young woman. It sucks but it's true. Your fiancé got screwed out of a settlement with Microsoft. What is the possible response from a lawyer when the accused is most likely a ghost in an online business with admins that can't even be traced within this country? If you lose money in this business, it's gone. It's to be considered a costly business expense. The only upside is that if you can prove that you ever made it, on paper (or in logs), you can possibly write the earnings off, on taxes. But if you're avoiding a basic bank account and hiding money in your house, taxes are likely not your concern.

hmm a money saving thread well here goes..
My mother sent this last one to me because well the machine where I live were all nice but then the raised the price and they have all of these problems now. I laughed my ass off when I opened the box and though wow it's not that serious. We laugh at some of these videos because the one that you have to "self turn" seems like too much work. I just don't have to patience to crank something like that for 15 mins. haha!
Still for gentle items I love it! Plus I just got the spin dryer and it does amazing on certain items. I still dry clothing in a the huge tumble dryer but I'm able to put in 3-4 load to dry perfectly after I spin.
It's nice not having to worry about leaving my things in the washer when someone is waiting to use them or worse have them moved by foreign hands. lol Plus I had no idea how filthy even the cleanest looking clothes are. Most machines don't really get out the dirt and when you see the water you think "ewww I only wore that once".
Anyways just thought I'd share![]()

I'm not trying to argue, I'm just trying to clear this up for anyone who might be reading this now or years from now. If you're following the rules, you have less chance of getting banned. But I got pregnant and got very sick as a result. I've been following all the rules. I've been away from this site I was talking about for 2 months or 3. There is nothing in their TOS about banning you if you don't work for a certain amount of time. Yet, obviously, it's their site, I can't do anything to get back (not that I'd want to). I'm not saying I've been a top earner, but I'm not that bad either. It's not always the performer's fault if she gets banned. (Or maybe it was, idk...Bad, bad me, wanting to have a baby and getting pregnant when instead I could've WORKED and put money in some site's pocket!)
I respect your position on banks, I've never had any problems so far, knock on wood, I'm in favor of banks, but it doesn't mean everyone has to be (compound interest and all those beautiful things!). I'm not trusting them 100% at all, but there are many ways to invest your money so it won't lose value every day.

Lol jac <3

My method of saving some money is since I work on multiple sites, I funnel monies from different sites directly into specific bank accounts. For example, my Niteflirt money are direct deposited every day into my savings account which is then set to transfer into my money market account when it reaches $1k. US bank has this saving option you can set online. Then my checks from cam sites are deposited into my business accounts to pay for bills. Remember, bank accounts charge fees for when they are under a specific amount (such as checking/savings require minimums of $1500 and small biz accounts $3k). Avoid those $12-15 monthly fees by not going under minimum and you'll always will have a nice chunk to fall back on in case of a rainy day.
I truly believe when you don't see the money in your hand and letting banks do the work for you, you're less likely to spend it. Just check monthly for any anomalies in payment or charges.
Try to do autopay for your bills too so you don't have to incur late fee charges in case you miss a due date.

Your site earnings are just as figurative as a bank balance btw. However you're correct in the fact that it's not borrowed money like what a bank has, but if the site went bankrupt for some reason you'd never get your money, as it's not physically sitting somewhere waiting for you. The number is figurative and they just pay us from an expense account.
With all the notable greed in the adult industry, I wouldn't trust any site with that much of my money. It says in Streamate's code of conduct that if you break any rules your account will be terminated and payments withheld. You'd probably be under the microscope big time once you hit 5 figures because they just won't want to pay you that much. It could be anything from as small as a guy sending you a message with his skype name and you not noticing it fast enough to report it. Boom, outside contact, account terminated, earnings withheld.

This is a good idea in theory, but you must be careful when doing this. I have been camming 8 years and have seen many a payment processor come and go (IBill, Epassporte, etc.) What if, just what if...you are using a site as a form of a savings account, and (lord forbid) they run into payment processing problems, and or (probably will not happen but what if?) the site disappears? So does your money. 10 grand is a lot of money to just keep floating around on any site.
A good idea in theory, but please do not use any of these sites as a form of a savings account. You never know what can happen in camland.
I would personally never do this, just a hint of advice for you. Take and get the money when you can get it. Maybe lower the number to $1,000 or $5,000...get the cash, and put that cash onto a pre paid credit card or bank account. Ya banks go under too, but at least you are somewhat protected with a bank.
