I am wondering if it is appropriate to tip a vip host who didnt get you the vip but they do collect the $$ for you and give it to you at the end of the night. If you guys tip in the scenario what percentage do you give them?

I'm also wondering about tipping....I've worked at the same club for 2 years, and I tip the waitresses and the bouncer who walks me to my car. I just started at a different club and I'm confused about who I tip. I tipped the bartender, the DJ, and one of the managers (there usually are two), but there's also dance trackers. Do I tip ALL the employees?? I know there's places where that's the norm...
-Sophia_StarinaThere is no reason to take it up the ass and then act all butthurt.

depends on if its the norm there or not..some places you will not make anything if you don't tip, and they will make your lives a living hell if you don't..other places, nobody tips so don't waste your money and get them greedy ( unless they do something special for you). all about what's expected in your specific club. i never have
^^ HOw do we know if its the norm in the club unless they tell us? The dance tracker said something to me about not tipping so I tipped him and last night somehow I owed about 80$ less then I should have so I will be tipping him from here on out for sure but the vip guy really does nothing for me, he has sold me a few vips or at least walked me over to the right guy and I tipped him about 10% of what I made on that guy but when I sell the vip on my own, its a grey area for me, IDK what to do...

^ do you know any of the girls there you can trust do tell you the ins and outs of tipping protocol there? because if you're a newbie there ( not sure if you are or not), everybody is going to have their hands out trying to take advantage of you and bullying you into giving them your hard-earned money for nothing

if he helps me significanyly then 20%, 10% if he helps just a little, and $10-20 if I do a large vip and he doesn't help but is still super courteous to the customer etc or if he tries to give me customers but they turn out to be duds.
you never know when someone will help you so tipping $5-10 every night might pay off later. I always tip housemom $5 for example even tho I never ever use her but every now and then she'll get food for me and watch it if I disappear for awhile.
but if someones a dick to you don't tip them. tipping them a marginal amount wont make them suddenly help you make money. theyll just take your tip and continue to be a dick.

I don't tip the hosts because they don't DO anything, and one is actually such a hard-faced biznitch that she turns off sales a lot of the time.
Unless they are hooking you up with the sale, I wouldn't.
"People jack off with the left hand and point with the right."
"You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave."
Yup, I am a newbie in this club and I dont know any of the girls yet. Well everytime I am new to a club girls act funny about me talking to them, like I am bothering them or something, so I just dont talk to them. This city isnt the same as others but we will see I may end up being friends with a few..

I tip all of our bouncers if I make over a certain amount, but for the guy handling our VIP room, I give him $5 each time I do a champange room (dancers get $75 for 1/2 an hour after the club takes their cut). We have 3 champange rooms and 17 lapdance booths all on camera that he has to watch while taking money, timing rooms, and keeping track of dances. It goes a long way though, because if there is a handsy idiot (not the illegal handsy, just annoyingly handsy) I'm with he'll come over and say our 30 minutes is up a little early. Plus he tries to upsell for all the girls. If another bouncer gets me dances I will tip $5 to them also.
I am one of about 4 girls that does this though and we have about 72 dancers on our roster. So it is far from normal in my club.

At my club its expected to tip the hostess $30 out of a $200/30 minute VIP or $50 out of $400/60 minute VIP. I'll try to get my customer to help me out with at least some of it, but sometimes they won't and it all comes out of my money.
Are they watching your dances on camera to keep you safe? Is the host the same person who would help you out if a customer started assaulting you? Or does a different person do those jobs?

In my club the hostess doesn't watch the camera. All she does is bring drinks when the time starts and comes by five minutes before our time is up.
She usually never passes by otherwise. Thankfully I have never had problems at this club in VIP. If I did I have a feeling she would call a bouncer to deal with the customer though...
10% if they only collect the money, show us to our room, re-up our time.
20% if they actually hook you up with the room as in you wouldn't of gotten the room if it weren't for him/her.

Everyy club is deifferent. Like at vip you have to give 20% no matter what. Im M.B. I chargr what I want ( most girls charge 350 half hour) 50 goes to room 300 for me I tip the host 20-30. He only walks us to a room. In vcg clubs when the guy signs I tell him 20% but you know what I'm not gonna do it anymore since the guy pays like 300 something and I only get 180. It really just depends on the clubs policy and how it works...
^^ so what if the guy tips the host 20% do you still tip the 20-30$ each time?

Damn these double posts!
I know right, its been doing that to me a lot lately, thanks girl![]()

A lot of times I say 300 for the half , then we get up there I say oh I forgot it's 50 for the room and a tip. It really depends on my night and what I've made or I say 370 total if I think the guy will go for it and some guys say I can only do 300 total I do it if it's slow going on vips but I make him tip the host so I get at least 250.
I'm assuming our VIP bouncer is the host in my club. He is at a desk at the door and has the monitor hooked up for all the cameras there. He can go to a single view and zoom in if needed or a split to the 9 cameras at once. If there is a problem he switches on a red light that alerts and summons the bouncers in the club of a problem and goes to escort the trouble maker(s) out.
Customers might ask bouncers for suggestions on who to get dances from occasionally, but there isn't anyone that actively matches customers with dancers.
Even if the guy tips the host for me (20%, more, less, IDC), I still tip 10% of the room out of my OWN money to the host.
If the VIP bouncer is actually watching the cameras (i.e. he isn't sitting back there snoozing), definitely tip them. If they have to help you during the room by summoning a bouncer, then tip them more. If they're watching the cameras but never have to do anything, then tip less.

In NY and vegas I would say yes because they can make or break your night but in other areas no and it depends on what they do. I'm an excellent tipper when people help me out( djoser would attest to this) but I don't tip for no reason. Depends on what's customary at eh club etc.
