    Thanks everyone for the replies, I wasn't expecting them! So it looks like this is just a pitfall of working in the industry then? Arbitrary, trollish reviews can affect your traffic or reputation.. just hope to cover them up with good reviews as soon as you can and make sure to buffer your income streams by utilizing other well-paying sites . It's just...I wonder if there is a way to pressure these sites into removing those types of reviews, which are invalid. If they can be verified to be factually untrue, or a chargeback has not even been requested, that review should NOT stand as it can affect the worker adversely. Can you imagine this crap going down were we union employees? Ha! I'm serious about this...why not start a labor organization or join one or something? We already have to deal with too many trolls and psychos in this industry. Anything that could help.

    Did you ever get on cam during those 12 minutes? It was a phone with cam call? In the future if you run into a call where you know it's going to suck, like you just know it for sure, politely end the call before the 30 second mark. They can't leave feedback until the call goes past 30seconds. I say something along the lines of "I'm really sorry but I don't think we're compatible and I don't want to waste your time or money. You take care" and then I hang up. You can even block them if you like so they can't call you at a later date.

    I always get guys who call and find out if the feedback was real. I had feedback once that said "sounded like a man" and go 5 new customers because they wanted to call and see what I sounded like. Bad feedback is nothing. Not important. Most of the regulars with money don't even read them because they know that most of the guys who left them were idiots who are trying to get a refund.

    don't let one troll steal your power. You were making money because you believed that you were making good money and you were the confident woman that they would pay to see. If you are to survive in this induastry you have to tie the trolls to a balloon and let them float away. Then imagine yourself as a big money magnet.

    I know for a FACT that women have boyfriends, husbands etc leave bad feedback. I had one guy leave me bad feedback and say I hung up on him when he was actually leaving bad feedback for a $.99 PTV. I say OH FUCK YES> that means I am being so successful that someone wants to ruin me.

    I don't go away that easy. I don't back down. Don't give anyone your power or they win.

    oh yeah and people post on this thread every day.

    and if you made money today even if the guy didn't leave bad feedback it would not be to you in 3 days.

    Hey everyone and thanks for the support. I haven't yet been able to read all the replies on this thread.

    I also, LOVE NiteFlirt! But it really hurts to suddenly have zero people calling the same exact listing with no change to it at all except your first below-5 star rating and losing most of your income from there for not changing anything or doing anything wrong. I only have 16 written feedback and this one on is still on the first page. A complete lie....

    Why not advocate for yourselves? Why are the self-employed often so adamant about not doing so? The only mistake I made here was not hanging up the call and blocking a creep who I got such a bad vibe from immediately. I will be more circumspect in the future.

    This is what I just received from NiteFlirt:

    "Feedback is considered eligible for removal based on the fact that it was posted for a 'disconnected call' when the call in question never begins and therefore does not contain a conversation between the Flirt and customer. In such cases, the customer has paid for a service they did not receive and the Flirt has earned funds for a service they did not provide.

    The call you are referring to was connected and a service was exchanged. For this reason, we are unable to refund the customer in the manner you have requested and the feedback will not be removed.

    We appreciate your understanding.

    Regards,"

    Not cool, not fair! Like it or not, it is a fact of life being self-employed that trolls and creeps DO have an effect on our income, through feedback and review systems. We should be able to delete provably-false reviews. Call me anti-free speech if you want but I believe this! This goes across all industries.

    I still havent turned my lines on. Havent been able to find a reliable, good quality head set that is compatible with my little at&t land line phone. I did try using that land line phone for one call and the volume was really terrible. I bought one off amazon and that one was really awful too. Bought a headset with a mic that goes in front of your phace but it wouldnt work with any of my phones when I plugged it in which was weird. Can you guys recommend one that actually works?

    Ty for this info! Ive had the same guy call my cam listings under different names and even though ive blocked him ( hes an asshole each time) hell leave bad reviews each time. I just delete my profile afterwards but it sucks bc the first time he did this bs I had a nice amount of reviews

    You got ONE 1-star review. Stop and breathe for a second.

    I've been on NF for about 4 years now, multiple accounts. There are at least 2 that have received at least one 1-star review from a similar circumstance. NiteFlirt will NOT - I repeat, WILL NOT - erase the FIRST 1-star review someone leaves for you. If the person were to have called you another time or two, and then subsequently left 1-star reviews to be an asshole, THEN you could contact NF and the ADDITIONAL reviews would be considered "Flirt Harassment" and they would be deleted - but the FIRST 1-star review will always be there, no matter what.

    You have 16 reviews. Only one of those reviews are 1-star. Your business is not going to tank profusely because of one single, solitary 1-star review. Perhaps it has affected your placement? Your attitude? Have you found yourself angry with the Troll and NF and haven't been logging in or putting in as much effort lately?

    If it's affected your placement - BID a few cents and put yourself back up higher in the listings to get more calls and then, hopefully, more reviews to bump yourself back up.

    It sucks, but it happens. We all get shitty people every once in a while that just want to troll us, or be an asshole. But the vast majority of clients aren't bad - and especially with NiteFlirt, they tend to have higher quality traffic than some other sites.

    Chalk this up to a learning experience, breathe, and move on and continue to grow your business. Concentrate on that which you can control.

    And RE: payments ... I always have Express Pay enabled because I'm greedy like that. I pretty regularly receive them Direct Deposited in 5 business days. Just remember you need to take into account weekend days and bank holidays - if you make $15 on Wednesday, and it gets pulled from your NF account on Thursday ... 5 business days is the following Thursday - because Saturday and Sunday don't count. That's 7 days, but 5 bank processing business days. Just a thought in case you hadn't considered it.

    ETA: And let's say Monday is a Holiday - then you're looking at a Direct Deposit probably on Friday, maybe Monday - GASP! - that's a whole 10 calendar days!

    This is inaccurate information. Being able to leave feedback on NF has nothing to do with the length of time they are on the phone. Here's the feedback rule: First time callers can always leave feedback regardless of what they spent. After that, callers must spend at least 99 cents in order to leave feedback on a purchase.

    This is not true. They have plenty of instances in which they will remove a customer's feedback... even if it's the very first review someone has left you. You can find the list here: https://www.niteflirt.com/help/feedback_policy

    Thanks...first I'd like to say, I had no idea that I could create multiple listings...I would have gotten on that right away. I only have one on NF in total. That is why this one star review was so unfortunate.

    Second - it did in fact almost entirely ruin my income for a couple days so far, and maybe more past that, just a FYI for anyone who might be wondering. If I leave my availability on for most of the day I absolutely make between $100 to $200 a day with my one bad resolution photo and fairly creative domme ad.

    ALL OF A SUDDEN, the very next morning after that call.... no calls. My total income for same amount of time was $12. Coincidence? No. Fact. ONLY thing that changed was the one negative review at top saying "couldn't get her webcam to work" whic had been left hours later by the troll. That's it. Killed the daily revenue from NF. Not a single paid mail for that whole day. Slowly, I'm getting back, have a fan calling every day, etc.

    Big lesson here is, if you're going to do NF at all, do your research first, make SEVERAL LISTINGS!!!! That way one review won't ruin your rep (if even temporarily).

    Yes, NiteFlirt will in fact (according to what they told me, and according to their listed policies in "Policies and Abuse") erase feedback, but only under the circumstance where there was a disconnected call. If the call was completed and services rendered then the custie (here- troll) gets to leave feedback regardless of what it is- an outright lie, revenge, emotional response after not being able to make their Skype work, whatever. It stays. Same as for every single business in America today via Yelp, Tripadvisor, Google reviews etc etc etc. How many new restaurants with not many reviews out there do you think lost significant business because the ex of the owner wanted to exact some revenge via Yelp or Zagat or even Facebook? How many positive reviews are paid? It happens all the time.

    Just ONE more comment from annoying ol me- hopefully this could be helpful to someone although it was mentioned in the thread. I just remembered that yeah, when I started out on NF and had like NO reviews I was getting hmm like 75% of the calls I was towards the end after I had like 16 written reviews. So the quickest solution to this problem if anyone has it is in fact to simply start a new listing to receive the (almost) usual volume of calls (assuming you're like me in terms of profile) Sorry I was so discombobulated lately that I didn't think of that.

    If you're new to camming and using skype there may have been an issue. Be sure to look at your icons. Before each and every skype call I get I make sure my webcam plus microphone is assigned. I'm kinda ocd like that, so I like to be sure. On your skype page during the show you can see if the video and/or audio icon has a slash through it. If the slash is there then the call is missing one of those two things. Make sure that they can see you from the very beginning before getting into a show. "Let me know that you can see your Mistress crystal clear" or whatever. He could have just been a douche bag who didn't know how to set up his equipment, but it's best to be able to determine this from the beginning. If you do a check at the beginning and they say No I can't see you, then end the call. Sometimes they aren't as smart as we'd like them to be, plus the blood is rushing away from the brain. Essentially they're stoopid at this point.

    Right, but those don't apply to the situation.

    Unless maybe she agrees to the refund one and NF agrees it falls under that - other than that, the list doesn't apply.

    Also, magic - yep, you can have multiple listings! You can have one listing per category on NiteFlirt. So ... however many categories, etc., there are.

    And then you can have up to three accounts per credit card and phone number you used to sign up with - so those are additional.

    This forum is full of a ton of great information. Just read as much as you can - and the NF forums might be helpful, too.

    You can remove any bad feedback on NF as long as you agree to reimburse the customer the funds for the show. I had it done before

    I think that she tried that and they said no I think that it has to do with who reviews the request more then anything

    I signed up for Niteflirt about two weeks ago, got my listing approved, everything was great. I don't know what I'm doing wrong because I keep my phone on from about 8 AM to 11 PM and haven't gotten a single call or text. What am I doing wrong? I posted my ad in BDSM and Extra Kinky as a submissive woman. Is NF mostly domme only?

    edit: I had to change my ad like seven times because each time I'd submit it NF would say no because of wording. It did finally get approved though, idk if that effected it.

    edit again because I'm obsessing: I did get one dude who added me to his favorites and I sent him an e-mail saying I'd like to talk but that was it.
