Default the best kind of eyeliner for crisp, small lines?

i tried googling it but maybe i didn't use the right words for the search, so i decided to ask you ladies here! what is the best kind of eyeliner for getting crisp, thin lines with a tad of smuding all around your eye, like this pic?? pencil always smears and wears off, liquid is a bit hard and usually makes thicker lines.maybe a gel?

Gel liner, for sure. Maybelline's is the best drugstore one, IMO, and it comes with the application tool. I haven't tried higher end brands yet, so I can't give many other recommendations.

If you like YouTube tutorials, you would likely have luck looking up makeup inspired by Mila Kunis.

Makeup tutorials for Jennifer Lawrence would be good for you then too. She rocks hooded eye makeup.

The SuperSlick liquid eyeliner by MAC might be good to try. It comes with a little dip stick applicator that has a very small tip that you can make small lines with. (It resembles a pen) It lasts a long time and also dries quickly after you apply it.
When I'm not working I use it for simple, pretty everyday makeup. The tip on the applicator brush also makes it easy to make a cat eye or more dramatic look also.

I love the pens! I used a couple inexpensive ones, & liked although the pen itself seemed to dry out quickly though

Wow I love this pic and makeup in general but who doesnt!
If I were you I would definitely think of Clinique. It has an amazing eyeliner: "crayon shper for eyes" and choose simple black.
It is a bit sparkly really just a bit it is waterproof and the pencil itself is really soft so you can draw prfect lines with it. And with this you can have the exact look on the pic. Plus before you apply the eyeliner on the upper eyelid and under the eyes try to put on white eyeshadow
to all the eyelid right to the eyebrow line It does wonders!

ANd clinque has an amazing mascare which will give you a look like you wear fake lashes but NOT lol: cliniques High impact mascara!
I think the eyeliner and the mascara comes in a box set too.And it worth every penny

Have you tried cake eyeliner? I use that and one of the tiny concealer brushes from ELF for my eyes almost exclusively nowadays. I feel it gives me the more control in application over gel and it's a cinch to smoke out if I want that look. But I do use a cheapie pencil to tightline.

Bent liner brushes make thinner lines than the normal liner brushes, so that is a start.

Estee Lauder Double Wear on the top with the thinnest line I can possibly make. When it dries, I use a small clean eyeliner brush to run a layer of black eyeshadow (the black eyeshadow from Urban Decay's Naked Basics palette) on top of the eyeliner. This makes the eyeliner matte because it dries shiny, and also gives a very small bit of smokiness. Then, I use the same eyeliner brush to line the waterline of my lower lid with black eyeshadow, and it sticks there- idk how- and also gives a thin line with just a very small bit of smokiness.

I think a liner brush with dark eyeshadow traced under the eye and gel liner on your waterline. I have tried drugstore to high end gel liner and have been using it for years. I really, really like and only buy ELF liner now. It dries out in about a month and you lose the soft consistency it is easier to throw it away at three dollars then twenty dollars.
