Default Getting turned down because of the friend you're auditioning with?

I'm planning to travel to Vegas soon and probably a few other places after that, as I have traveled a little in the past and loved it, plus LA sucks balls. Anyways.. I went alone before and would like to go with a friend this time to save money and have some company. However, we have very different looks and I'm worried about not getting hired at the same places. I'm 5'1" 100lbs, blonde, tan, DD implants. She's pale, 6 feet tall, kinda flat chested (nice body though, naturally thin with a big butt, in good shape). What I'm wondering is, if you go into the bigger clubs to audition and you go with a friend, do they look at the two of you as a package deal? Like if one girl is not what they are looking for would they turn both away? Do you think she'll be fine? Would they tell me to come back if that was the reason? Should I just go alone? We already talked about possibly working at different clubs while we're there but I'd rather go in with her. I don't have any other stripper friends either.

shouldn't be an issue. Daytime you'll be more likely to both be taken-- Night-time, you will likely have the advantage.

Las Vegas has so many clubs though that this shouldn't be an issue unless there's only one or two that you really have your heart set on.

I would try going in together and then if you don't both get picked, then try auditioning separate at the next place (pretend you don't know each other.)
    See what happens

When you come in as a duo, you run the risk of creating the perception that you and the buddy are a package deal. I have never seen a club hire one person and not the other. They're either both turned away or hired together. If there is something the club doesn't like about your buddy, you're going to get turned down too. The buddy thing is cute, it works as a hustle, but for the purposes of an audition it can cause more harm than good.

What makes you think that your friend more than likely will get turned down to work in Vegas?

YOU DO NOT NEED BIG BOOBS TO BE A SUCCESSFUL STRIPPER IN VEGAS....I REPEAT TO EVERY GIRL ON THIS THREAD, YOU DO NOT NEED BIG BOOBS AND BLONDE HAIR TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN VEGAS!

I have small boobs and a big ass, I am not even white and guess what? I kill [email protected] the Rhino and CH3.

You can't be this dependent on your friend either. This is Vegas, a shark tank. I say cut the umbilical cord. Your hair color and big boobs aren't enough, you need to be tougher than this. I don't think any club would care if you two are friends or not, trust and believe they will make their own decisions, if they want your friend and not you or vice versa, they will let you know, unless you're uber hot they wont play the "come back later" and mean it game, this is Vegas where girls all over the world come to work, they won't be thinking about you and your needs- no one cares about hurting feelings or sugar coating over here. Hope I didn't sound mean, but it's true. Good Luck.

The impression I got from your post was that you were looking to bring a friend to save sm $$ & have sm company, as you stated - I didn't read much of a codependent thing. Would you consider the trip a bust if you guys travelled together but sm times ended up working in different clubs in the same city?

im going to audition with my friend also, only if she doesn't get hired i don't see myself working there either, so its all about how important it is for you guys to be working in the same club or the same hours. if its not important, go in just yourself or act like you aren't besties and just going in at the same time? and yes, i'd like to second what jojox said..you don't need to have big boobs and blond hair, so do not go in there assuming you're the catch of the day and your friend is chopped liver lol

thanks for your input guys. being independent or toughening up isn't the issue.. i traveled from cali to NOLA to work on my own and was there for a month and did just fine. i've pretty much done everything by myself since i started dancing which is why i was unsure of the protocol for going with another. the reason i want to go with someone else is for money reasons, mainly because my car is older than me and i don't trust it to drive 5 hours. i would have to fly or rent a car but she has offered to drive and this will save me a lot of money. i actually was originally planning to go by myself but she asked to come. i prefer to work alone but i like her and wanted to save the money so i agreed..

i also don't think she is chopped liver and wasn't trying to insinuate that, or insinuate that you have to have big boobs to make money in vegas or anywhere. she does just fine here and there is nothing wrong with her she just has an alternative look with facial piercings etc... idk i guess i was making an assumption but i have zero vegas experience.. nor do i have experience with trying to audition with someone else. who knows, maybe she'll get hired at the first club and i won't. i was just wondering if it made a difference at all.

I don't think that they are going to turn you both down as a package deal - most bigger clubs have a standard time/day for auditions, and there will be a lot of girls there - they will just look at everyone individually.

If you actually prefer to work alone, have different looks, and just want to save on rooms, gas, etc, it might actually be BETTER if you didn't get hired at the same club - as long as she was ok with that too.

I got hired no problem at Sapphire & I have alot of tattoos & had facial piercings at the time.... Just go in together. Go during the day bc it meight be slower & not as many girls for mngt to have to deal with, might increase the chances of you guys getting to work in the same place

I would normally say go alone but in vegas it really doesn't matter. she will need to take out her facial piercings tho and should probably put on a spray tan for the first day. ignore the advice above me, don't audition during day unless you really wanna be stuck on dead dayshift.

My experience no matter where you audition: Make sure if you have to go with a friend that you two at least look similar. (Same body types at the
    very least)

I've gone with friends to audition and been on both ends of the spectrum.

They will either reject the both of you or let you know personally that there's only "one position available" (if they don't want to hire your friend). This recently happened to a friend of mine-she and another dancer went interstate, auditioned at four clubs and only one would hire her friend (her friend didn't make an effort with her hair/make up and had an attitude problem). If your friend has experience, is well groomed, attractive and friendly it shouldn't be a problem.

If you are worried-you could always audition separately.

Both parties should definitely go alone. The last time I went to a club with travel buddies it did not end well for me. At the time I fit close to the description of your friend and the two girls I was traveling with fit your description. I looked like a freaking mammoth next to them and the asshole manager made it clear that he would only hire the two tiny blondes. Name: Adriana+Lima+Swimwear+Monokini+EhEHZLdsh8ml.jpg

The pic above pretty much sums it up. I went alone at a later date and got hired no problem by the same manager. I looked fine, I am sure your friend looks amazing but you could avoid a lot of hassle going individually.
