So, I've been oohing and ahhing at this forum for a long time now. Never thinking I'd ever actually try and do anything; that I was too chicken.
However! ::drumroll, please:: I auditioned todayNot going to lie... I waited a while before I actually managed to say "I'm here for an audition", and one of the lovely girls actually pushed my tuchus towards the changing room (or um... changing closet lol). All in all, I did get hired! They book monthly, so unfortunately I have to wait for September to start really working unless a girl calls out
But hey! Now I know the hardest part is taking that first step. You can hear it so many times, and it just didn't sink in until I'd already done it.
I looked quite obviously brand spankin' new, nervous and slightly uncoordinated, but you have to start somewhere, yes? The whole time I'm thinking to myself, "Try to smile", "I feel weird wearing makeup", "I wish I practiced wearing these shoes more", and... "Did I do this move three times already?". But it was a pretty good experience, and I'm proud that I finally took that step. I went with a friend, and probably made his day cause he *finally* got to see my tits bahahahaa So good times had by all ;p
Girls that are still waiting to audition, I say to you! Just go for it.
Hopefully, I'll still be happy when September comes and I'm actually working.... Until then, guess I'll just keep being broke!
There's a lot I haven't read on this thing, but just a THANKS to everyone for all the posts you write. *hugs* I look forward to gaining experience and being able to share mine with all of you the same way.

Got a ways to go, but I can't think of anything better than working out to move up to a better club... while still working and making some monies ^__^ Shyness be damned! Also, I think since it's a pretty mellow, down to earth kind of place, it's going to be a bit easier to get the hang of. Who knows! Won't be making myself rich there, but it's a foot in the door as I prepare to start back schooling after a.... three year hiatus from education (I know... tsk tsk)
