    Default Just another newbie here!

So, I've been oohing and ahhing at this forum for a long time now. Never thinking I'd ever actually try and do anything; that I was too chicken.
However! ::drumroll, please:: I auditioned today Not going to lie... I waited a while before I actually managed to say "I'm here for an audition", and one of the lovely girls actually pushed my tuchus towards the changing room (or um... changing closet lol). All in all, I did get hired! They book monthly, so unfortunately I have to wait for September to start really working unless a girl calls out But hey! Now I know the hardest part is taking that first step. You can hear it so many times, and it just didn't sink in until I'd already done it.

I looked quite obviously brand spankin' new, nervous and slightly uncoordinated, but you have to start somewhere, yes? The whole time I'm thinking to myself, "Try to smile", "I feel weird wearing makeup", "I wish I practiced wearing these shoes more", and... "Did I do this move three times already?". But it was a pretty good experience, and I'm proud that I finally took that step. I went with a friend, and probably made his day cause he *finally* got to see my tits bahahahaa So good times had by all ;p

Girls that are still waiting to audition, I say to you! Just go for it.

Hopefully, I'll still be happy when September comes and I'm actually working.... Until then, guess I'll just keep being broke!

There's a lot I haven't read on this thing, but just a THANKS to everyone for all the posts you write. *hugs* I look forward to gaining experience and being able to share mine with all of you the same way.

Congratulations! Instead of waiting an entire month and being broke, why don't you just go to another club and get working though?

Part of what held me back was my body. While I'm okay to work at this place, I highly doubt any other club nearby would take me atm. Maybe as I keep working out and eating better I'll be able to find a better club anyway Got a ways to go, but I can't think of anything better than working out to move up to a better club... while still working and making some monies ^__^ Shyness be damned! Also, I think since it's a pretty mellow, down to earth kind of place, it's going to be a bit easier to get the hang of. Who knows! Won't be making myself rich there, but it's a foot in the door as I prepare to start back schooling after a.... three year hiatus from education (I know... tsk tsk)

And thank you! I was off and on for a while toying with the idea. I originally came to the site out of curiosity after a friend told me she was working as a dancer. She "broke the news" in the most adorable way... She was preparing to tell me. During our conversation, she had hidden a pair of heels under the coffee table. "I actually have a different job". "Oh, yeah? Great! What is it?". *slowly raises heels* lol I didn't want to bombard her with questions yet, so I found this lovely little place... and got slightly hooked hehe

(And sorry for such a lengthy response to a simple question x.x I type the way I think, tangents and all!)

Have you visited many strip clubs before? I obviously have no idea what you look like, but there are many "imperfect" girls working at nice clubs - it's not all rail-think blondes with big tits. Get some confidence in yourself (which you'll need to be successful in any club anyway) and just try out another club. September is a ways away, and unless you're actually on the schedule for that month and have a shift to come in for, there's no guarantee you actually are hired there. Be a shame to sit around waiting for a month, only to find out they're still too full or changed their mind or whatever, and ten you're back at square one only more broke.

I agree with Shanna. Get your imperfect butt to another club ASAP! Philly is filled with them.

    Aww y'all are sweet
    Looking into it now!
Hopefully it won't be too far... I'm a scaredy-cat driver. I refuse the boulevard and have only accidentally driven on it once.... at night... I was petrified lol
