Okay, so there's probably nothing wrong with NYC. I generally do not like to say that there's something wrong with places I am at. If something goes wrong for me at a place, I think that this is my fault, generally. But here is the deal:
I danced in South Florida for a year and by all means were a top earner at both clubs I worked. I mean I would get 30-40 dances a shift (8hours) on top of multiple VIPs, or if not multiple, then extended. And, no, I NEVER did any extras, never messed with guys's heads and never promised anything that is illegal or that I will not do. When the club was dead and the majority of the girls were complaining/crying in the dressing room, I walked out of work with some fat sums of money. I worked two-three days a week and always made similar amount of money each night. In other words, it is safe to say that in three days, I could easily make $3000+. No, I am not inflating my earnings and not bragging. I am just saying that when I moved to NYC (I would have never left Fla if not for some personal reasons that made me move), it all changed. Here I make $150 a shift (8hours) and it takes me a whole deal of hustle. I mean to get $20 out of the guy is a real struggle for me here. I have NEVER made so little money. Never. And those who dance will agree with me that this kind of money is kinda miserable for a stripper. I am not a newbie though, I know the guys, I know my hustle, I am a good communicator and a natural flirt. I thought I also have a good sense of people..... But, I guess not in NYC??? Other girls in my club (I work on Times Square) are struggling with the money too, I see, however I don't think that anybody makes as little as I do, because then they wouldn't come back, right? House mom keeps telling me that it is the summer time to blame. My friend told me that Times Square isn't a good spot, because it's all tourists who have 1-2 dance limit and not big spenders. But I really don't know? Can it really be that BAD? Thoughts?
