Do you mean like mailing you check or cash? You'd want to make sure your site allows contact with customers offsite. I know streamate does not allow the exchange of personal info. If you happen to be on a site that allows this, I'd still just tell him to send you money through the site. Honestly, if he wants to give you money, he will give it to you how you want it. It's not worth the hassle of opening a postal box and security measures you'd need to do in order for him to mail you something.

Or do you mean sending you a tip through the site, but when you are not logged in and camming? (If this, what site do you work on? We'd need to know to answer that)

    Hello Cognac and welcome!

If he's asking to send you money offline knowing you're a brand new cam model he's playing on your newbie status.

Just state to him that it's against site rules.

Members that do one show and try to get you to accept money offline that fast are looking to get more for less. Remember you'll hear every line in the book from I'll send you $500 if you do a show for me now to "paypal" which does not accept adult transactions. Paypal being used has resulted in not only the money being taken back from the model but a $500 fine, paypal acct closed and also additional funds being placed on hold. Now of course the member will act as though he's out for your best interest talking about how you will not have to split money with the site if you skip the "middle man". Remember this same member can then turn around tell the site that he paid for a show "off the site" that you never did even if you did and try to get your acct suspended or removed.

Then there's the other type of member that is looking to find out where you live. Give him your paypal and not only will he have your real name but your real address as well. So he can just show up at your front door at any time. Not a safe way to play.

Others want your location so they can start harassing you about meeting them in person for sex.

Now depending on what site you're on some sites don't care if a member sends you a giftcard from amazon for just an extra treat. They still want shows to be paid for through them.

Anyways hope this helps. Don't let these guys bully you into doing anything you're not comfortable with. You'll get many that will try.

Ohh thanks for posting this I was wondered the same thing. Like an offline tip that is made on the site when you're not logged in. This is fine. But I'm not sure what site she's on.

You answered the first one really well haha..

This thread makes me wish Streamate allowed "offline" tips.. like guys sending us gold when we're not logged in.

Yep. If they have money they can send it to you online. If they don't they just want your personal info and NEVER give it to them. If they want to give you a large sum and have it go to you without your site taking a cut, get an Amazon gift card.

Re: tipping offline, depends on the site. They should be able to figure it out and contact support if they can't.
