i NEVER got the hype over her. Shes not cute, bland personality, and cant act. Who is she screwing?

I wish I could work at all of the clubs you guys are at. every club ive worked at is extremely hygenic. even the upscale ones are full of girls adjusting their tampon all night long, guys who "rearrange" before a lap dance (yes this goes on in the bathroom more than we want to know) and especially at nude clubs....splits on the stage anyone??? our heels track lord knows what and then we throw them in our bag with our phone, underwear...its really gross.
has anyone ever seen those news articles that say 99.999% of $1 bills have fecal matter on them? yet in the g string they go, into the purse that has our phone and lip gloss. I don't know how anyone could argue that a strip club isnt less sanitary than a comprable restaurant.
as far as thr other point, yeah most of us arent pimped out but most of the girls I know would rather have another job if we got paid the same. I feel pretty lucky cuz most of my customers are really respectful, young, and good looking but all it takes is one smelly indian guy to grab my arm and ask how much sex is for me to wish I was in an office job.
shes also like 45 yrs old I think. older ppl are usually more conservative...I think her comment expressed her conservative opinion without being unnecessarily rude.

SERIOUSLY!!
I think it's just like office workers banging in the supply closet, but maybe the more heavy party lifestyle just leads to higher sexual appetites in the first place? LOL Maybe it's just the convenience? And there IS something hot about fucking on a bar....

Given what you have said about your phobias....I kind of don't want to reply to this. Just because I am afraid that you may never leave your house without wrapping yourself in plastic again!!!
As a body piercer and tattoo artist, I studied pathogens and cross contamination extensively. The stuff I could tell you about how "hygienic" places are....that'll make you develop balls just so that you can grow hair on em!
You are right with the money stats (at least, close enough) - money is FILTHY. However, so are most things. Hands, in fact, contain and spread enough filth and bacteria to give you nightmares - the people who get colds a lot are the ones who touch their faces a lot - seriously. It's your HANDS doing the transfer and damage. Your skin is insanely resilient - you could soak a dollar bill in Hep C, slide it in the side of your g-string, and unless you have raw skin or cuts on your hips, you'd be fine. (Trust me, I'm a body mod professional). Your hands and mouth are both dirtier and than the rest of your body (barring open wounds) INCLUDING your pussy. Your mouth and eyes are the most vulnerable to germs (again, barring open wounds).
On top of that, in most places, the bathroom is actually the MOST hygienic area - strongest cleaning products are used, and most often. You have more chances of catching something off the table in a restaurant (everyone's grubby hands, used utensils....and given a cursory wipe down in between customers) than from sitting on the toilet seat!
A girl adjusting her tampon is touching (and transferring) LESS bacterial than a person wiping their mouth, picking crap out of their teeth, spreading their saliva around....
There is a standard "genitals are dirty" reaction. They are usually the cleanest part of your body....
So no. As someone trained in "hygiene" (in the context of food/hospitality, hotel maid service (my first job), hospitals, and body mods - with the certifications to prove it!) strip clubs are no less hygienic than any other club/restaurant/place of business where standard health and safety rules are followed. In fact, given the sheer number of people who believe the myth, and use hand sanitizer like it is the elixar of youth, they may actually be BETTER.
(brief note on hand sanitizer - please don't over use it!!! Wash your hands and do your immune system a favor)

I bought this magazine because she was on the cover and I dont generally buy magazines anymore, but I saw it and said, hmm I could read this in my down time and see what she has to say about her life these days. I have always liked her, I grew up watching her too!! But I found what she said a little hurtful. No, shes not the most beautiful or talented actress, but she is who she is, owns it, and always maintained her dignity in spite of all those things, including her divorce. I could agree that strip clubs arent hygienic at all. Then before she could have said something worse about strippers and stripping, she stopped herself and said it would be putting a whole group of women out, uh yeahhh your fans maybe? I still felt irked by it. I was disappointed in her especially because she played a stripper, I would imagine she would be more understanding or see another positive side of it instead of making the judgement that she did or do some real research but it probably would have led to more negative comments. So now, I just can't like her hardly as much as I did. :/ I wont be seeing that movie either.

lol why did she accept the role of a stripper if she couldn't deal with the stripclub enviroment? I thought actors did everything they could to research the role they play, eliminating all ignorance.
*sigh* well it's really no difference when someone like Johnny Depp plays a native american in 'Lone Ranger'. Never saw it but when I saw the previews I was taken aback. Talk about stereotyping... it's a movie afterall.
In reference to the stripper stereotype, it doesn't bother me what she or other people think. I actually think it keeps women out of the clubs and men IN THEM. Which I like. She and other conservative types can hate all they want, it only keeps stripping more of a taboo. Taboos = Money.
I have no qualms with Jennifer Anniston. I've always liked her in Friends. That's about it. I also realize her words were reviewed by a magazine. Magazines love celebs with strong opinions. Perhaps her 'strong opinion' was just about the lack of hygiene in a stripclub or unfaithful men, or whatever. LOL I can agree with some of that for sure! But really, I don't care enough about celebs/civilians thoughts about stripclubs.
I wouldn't pay to see the movie, but I'd be curious to see what 'her idea' / the directors idea of a stripper is like. Meh, or I'm just curious to watch all movies with stripper roles in them (blue iguana is one of my faves).
