^ I've worked in many clubs with the no touching sign- I can't say it restrains men who decide to touch. It sounds as though the situation has resolved itself for the OP, but if the girl is upfront and of a high standard I say go for it.

At the end of the day I think Undercutting is the big sin.

I've overcharged at every club I've ever worked at but I do so in a way that the customer understands the base price and is willing to pay extra for a theoretical "better" dance. My dances for $20 are the same as my dances for $50, the only difference is the psychological idea that you'll be getting better quality for the higher price.

What is driving customers away is the rudeness or blatant lying that goes into charging people a higher fee. In all my years of dancing I've never once had a customer complain that I was charging more than the the house price.

I guess I don't consider it overcharging if you are being very clear that the price is usually x, but he WANTS to give you y, because then it will be better. That's just negotiating a tip.

It's definitely more rudeness and lying - and telling the guy that EVERY dance is $60 or $80 or whatever, and then they start shooing every girl away that comes up after that, and not coming back because the club is so expensive....

More karmic happiness - I watched last night as a couple of these girls (there are basically four of them) strike out again and again because they came in late, and by then, the crowd had already been told by a guest DJ that dances were $40. Every time they tried to sell their $60 dances, they were told "no no - I know it's $40 - you are trying to rip me off". While I was getting $60-80 for dances because I can negotiate my tips well, and they didn't feel like I was trying to rip them off.

    Oh karma. I adore thee.
I take cash, debit or credit. I just don't take shit.
