Default Too sore to go to work!

I'm not sure if this topic belongs in Stripping or Body business category...

I've been working out pretty heavily this week. Running 3-4 miles a day along with mild strength training. Doesn't sound like much but I just started a workout routine. I plan to run a little every day and do an 1 hr of strength training like 3x a week.

I was very sore yesterday but went to work anyway. I made shit money. Maybe it was just a crappy Friday but I really think it was because I was tired. My hustle was a little 'tired' too but I kept busy. Normally if I keep busy I make good money, but it sure didn't happen like that last night.

I'm still sore today...even more sore then yesterday. Because of my sucky-suck money last night, I wondering if I should just stay home and wait for this soreness to go away. Unless there is something I can do about it.

For you girls that workout regularly, how do you manage to go to work sore and still make good money? How do you keep the fatigue at bay?

Remember that dancing is still a good workout. I exercised regularly, I ran 6 miles/hour about 2-3x a week and lifted 2x a week. I was nervous once I started dancing on the weekends that I'd start to lose my figure from being too tired/just not enough time as I was already working fulltime but quite the opposite! Doing different kinds of exercise is SO good for you!! I started lifting heavier weights with my legs after just a couple weeks at the club. My advice is to go to work and skip the gym if you are too sore (or better yet, do something light like recreational swimming or walking).

I've found really good bath salts that are formulated for sore muscles. Also, if you aren't already, taking a multi-vitamin or just Vitamin B helped when I was super busy. With all the extra working out you're doing it's possible you haven't adjusted your eating habits to match. So get some proteins in there too.

This happened when I started to run regularly again or trying to learn a new pole trick. Stretching a lot helps with my soreness. I used to try to take it easy at work until my body gets more used to the new workout regimen.

Thanks ladies. I decided to skip work tonight. Next time I'll try the epsom salts and incorporate stretching more in my routine. I really need to keep up with taking vitamins too.

Also as a side note, when I was doing the insanity workout (people that have tried the program know what I'm talking about...) I used this stuff to help recover http://www.allstarhealth.com/f/seque...ccelerator.htm if any of you are interested. I noticed I wasn't as sore the next day. I think I'm going to try it again.

lol no. It's called vega sport. You can get it anywhere. I just thought I'd give a link with the cheapest price I could find. When I used to do insanity (by beach body) I bought the recovery formula ... (forgot what it's called)... it kept me from being sore the next day, but it was kind of expensive. just an fyi

I would really love to do insanity again, but now I live in an apartment on the 3rd floor :/
