    Angry Bad Night

Am so pissed I could hit, kick and spit....on somebody. I may have just lost money on a hotel room. Had a guy show up for our second date and he was pissed drunk and practically broke. Wanted to argue over my rate. He knows damn well what it is. But then he wouldn't leave. Just kept begging and begging. So I walk to the door and open it and stood there until he stepped into the hall. On his way out he goes "I'm gonna call the police on you ho. I'm gonna tell them what you're doing." I freaked out and left. Don't need that shit but I have the room until Monday. Do you think I may be able to get some of my money back? I can't really afford this lost and now have no where to host. And I'm afraid to go back because he may have said something on his way out to the desk.

Sorry to hear about your unfortunate situation. I would suggest you to leave because he can always come back and possibly start more problems. He could just be talking shit because he is drunk but you never know. If he did tell the hotel staff they can't really do anything unless you continue with your suspicious activities, then they will be able to have proof and then alert the police. Do you have a car maybe you can just try to do outcalls close around you and just stay in your hotel room until monday so you won't feel completely ripped off. And definitely blacklist this guy.

Im at home right now. But I book hotels instead of at my house. I maybe be able to keep a date later if I do outcall. I dont know. I kinda just want to see if I can cancel the room for the rest of the stay

Did you book the room through them directly or through a booking agent ? If you did it through the hotel then I say go for it the worse that can happen is that they say no.

just call and tell them a family emergency came up and you had to leave asap and to return the money to your credit card.

They'll refund the rest, but do it before checkout tomorrow.

They will never do that, BanHammer.

You need to screen, screen, screen. I don't think there is anything else to say.

I did screen him. It was our second date. First one went perfectly. Not one issue until the second one lastnight. He called and texted the google number I use with an apology. Whatever, I still added him to verifyhim. And I'm gonna add him to a couple more in a bit. As for the hotel my checkout is tomorrow morning Monday and I was told that I have to call back then to speak to a specific manager. But I sent an email last night and left a message on this persons voicemail, in case the on duty manager doesn't relay my message. Possibly I was getting the runaround? We shall see. I called my second date to reschedule but ended up doing an outcall at his place. I have one more of those today with a regular. Never been to his place it should be interesting.

Do you do any type of confirmation call an hour or so before your meeting time? If not , that may have revealed that he was drunk. It never hurts to do that for a variety of reasons

Leave. It is very possible that he could have went to the front desk and given information or went straight to the police. Either way it’s not a good thing and you probably won’t get your money back but hell it’s better than getting busted.

Thanks all for the suggestions. I made my money back. So that was cool. Cuz I really couldn't afford that loss. Now if the hotel actually gives me a partial refund I would be overjoyed and way ahead. Not holding my breath or anything.

I'm late to the thread, but keep in mind that if you stay at a hotel multiple days you can always just change rooms. I've done it for lots of reasons - too near noisy ice machine, want a different view, too far from ice machine, LOL, etc. Not any safer from LE visiting because they'll ask at front desk, but if the drunk looser comes back, he'll at least be knocking on the wrong door...

I'm getting a prorated amount refunded to my card, but it wont appear for another 5 days they said. It's only $50 bucks. But I never thought about changing rooms. My biggest concern was that he might tip of the front desk. Him coming back crossed my mind as well.
