    Default Disloyal Customers

Has anyone ever lost a regular customer to another dancer?
Like the sort of custie that spends thousands on you a week for a month and then when you're not there one night he picks another girl and then spends even more on her and acts like you don't exist... I've lost custies before but this is crushing.
    Anyone else had this problem?

i think just about everyone has had this problem. i've also been "the other dancer" that has "stolen" a custie's heart.. err i mean wallet! all regs have an expiration date, we aren't married to them! if they wanted that, they'd just stay home with their wife. always be prepared for that, and get as much money as you can while the gettins good! and dont ever blame the other dancer..they are there to make money just like you, and the custy is there to try out all different flavors. not that im saying you were, but many girls get sooo butthurt when their custy dances with another girl. ill admit i've felt a twinge of jealousy, but i try and brush it off

What Simone said. To survive this business you need a VERY thick skin and yes this will happen and likewise you will do it to another dancer. Customers do get bored so never think a regular is yours forever because he may not be (and probably won't).

don't let it crush you. Someday that dancer won't be there and you may find that custy will remember you and fall back in love. Just be sweet. and be prepared to be coy while making them feel bad about ignoring you so you can milk that money out of them.
If it's affecting your hustle, go to another club for a couple of weeks and when you come back you'll have some bright shiny new-ness to everyone, even those who remember you from before.

First of all the title of the thread is misleading. "Disloyal"? Customers don't owe us shit but money. You want loyalty go buy a dog.

I hate it when dancers whine that someone "stole" "their" customer. Unless he goes in there and SPECIFICALLY indicates he's there to see you, that motherfucker is fair game. And chances are if he's that easy to steal he probably wasn't that into you anyways.

Shit happens and customers get bored.

If a regular of mine wants to try a new flavor by all means. They are more than welcome to go try the hamburger. They always come back to the steak.

This is why they are PAYING. They can pick whoever and buy her attention for awhile. There aren't the normal expectations you'd have in a regular relationship. Try to let it go. I've been there myself though. It sure can be tough to see one get away ( or be giving $ to someone else ). :/

I agree with the whole "disloyal" and "stealing" thing being kind of silly, but it does suck to lose customers... Sometimes, they simply stop coming in, but I don't normally "lose" them completely to other girls. What does happen is: I have a friend with a similar look to me, so we end up sharing a lot of customers. The difference is she fucks them all and I don't, so she makes more money off of them (though not enough to justify having 70 year old balls slapping against your vagina).

I actually like the way it works out.

I had this scenario happen to me last night. A regular of mine got a few dances with some of the fresh meat that just came in. Both she and my reg started apologizing profusely and practically prostrated themselves. I told the n00b "I'm not worried about He may like you more, he may wind up coming back to me."
Just like regulars, fresh meat has a shelf life as well. Did I cry? Was I crushed? No! because I was too busy making my fucking money like a big girl. This business isn't for the whiny who get crushed every time "their" customer looks in another direction at the meat market. Grow up and focus your energy on other candidates or gtfo.

^ True that, Toughen up. I have felt twinges of jealousy when my best regular moved on- but I was only jealous because of the money, he was time consuming, demanding and one of the most painfully boring people I've met in 8yrs dancing- theres always a plus side. Time goes by and new regulars are made. Go with the flow.

Never expect loyalty from a customer. I don't care who it is or how much they spend, they all fade away eventually, anyway.

I think the only time I ever got pissed at a "disloyal" customer (and I use these terms very liberally here) was when my current boyfriend was moving into this murky area of neither customer nor boyfriend. (and I still didn't pay for his dinner) I found one of my old friends perched on his lap giggling. I saw hellfire red and wanted to punch her...and him for about 2 seconds. Then I realized that if he wanted her I wasn't going to bother with it. Long story short, I relieved him of his virginity and we're still together.

If I sat around whining about every motherfucker that moved on I would be one broke bitch.

Yup. There is no "loyalty" in this business. Think of how fast we stop spending time with customers who turn cheap or broke.
