Default Pedicure! Nails look great, soles are rough

I always get the callous remover treatment when I go in for a pedicure (2 weeks), but my soles get rough before the toenails start to need attention. Any recomendations for stuff I can use to prevent or fix this? Important as I'm into foot fetish personally and professionally.

You can get a callous remover gel and a callous scrubber and brush. They're easy to find, you can find the products at Walgreens or probably for cheaper on Amazon. You could probably find a callous remover gel treatment as well as a callous scrubber and brush for no more than $15 total or so.

Cool, thanks! I bought one of those grater-things but the man has such awful feet I basically passed it on to him and refuse to touch it now. The gel sounds good.

You might also choose your footwear a bit more carefully. I always notice that my feet get a bit more rough if I wear certain shoes for a few days in a row.

Oh! And those aloe socks are really awesome too.

I find the best thing is to use a mr pumice bar in the shower on the regular on soapy feet. I ordered Be Natural Callus Eliminator on Amazon, it's the same as what salons use for the callus treatments. It's got glycolic acid to break down the top layers of skin so it's good if you slack about doing it regularly. I put the gel on and let it sit for a few minutes then scrub then put more and work on the other foot until I feel the skins gone, but be careful not to take too much off! The best bar I've found is from my salon so I think it's professional quality, but its got a dark purple side that's super course and a lavender side that's the usual grit.

Heh, well if I'm not wearing insanely high heels I'm wearing the same old flipflops I've had forever (99% of the time)

That might be it. I get rough skin on my feet way faster if I wear flip flops rather than other shoes.
I get pedicures every few weeks, and in between I try to keep my feet soft by putting coconut oil/a thick cream on them, then a pair of cotton socks.
I do find though, that no matter what I do, I get hard skin from my dancing shoes.

Well, what I like is Alpha Hydroxy lotion, it's available @ Ulta, I think drugstores too..it has a higher concentration for feet. My damn feet are so 'peely' & it really helps, + plus I get rough/thick skin on toes/heels too.
It works well w/foot scrub..I haven't used this, but was told about a brown pumice stone from HI, they sell it @ Sally's.
