    Question Swag bags

I am thinking about making swag bags for a dancer related event. I would like to fill each one with goodies that a dancer would really like/use. My price point is $500 - $1,000 a piece. Other than shoes or an outfit, does anyone have any ideas on what I could put in them? Please help - Thanks!

holy wow, 500-1000 a piece? the biggest problem is, girls aren't going to want to spend that much money on a mixed bag. they could easily go out and buy the shoes/outfits/makeup of their choosing for that much, and for lesser amounts. i'd do something a lot cheaper, maybe smaller bags. like a makep bag, then a shoe/outfit bag, a hair care bag, a lingerie/accessories bag, etc for a lot less.

I wouldn't buy outfits, makeup out right because most people have their preferences on those and a lot of stuff would just be a waste. I'd give gift cards to Sephora, ulta, lush, any online exotic dance stores that offer them. I wouldn't go over a few hundred dollars though.

^Agree with the gift cards, and also agree that $500-1000 is a LOT to spend per bag. Are these gift bags? Or do the dancers have to pay for them, like it's a charity thing?

Maybe some rhinestone costume jewelry, some nice bath & spa products. I wouldn't get any clothes beyond maybe some thongs/g strings (depending on what the dancers wear in your area), because that's such a preference thing! Of all of the outfits in the stripperverse right now, you have a 99% chance of picking something I wouldn't wear in a million years - I think most dancers are the same. As for shoes, are you getting shoe sizes ahead of time? That might be a pain otherwise, if you run out of one size and have an excess of another at the end of the event.

If you really want a big money item, I'd let them order it from a catalog and have it shipped to their house, and include some smaller novelty things in the actual bag. Depending on if they work at a gown club, Kamala collection has some stunning gowns that I think any dancer would be happy to have. They also make really cute, good quality rhinestone thongs. Otherwise, maybe let them order their preferred pair of pleasers within a certain price point?

Do the items have to be specifically dancing related, or can they also include more "general use" stuff that dancers would also like? Dancers are just people, too!

If general use stuff is ok, then why not take a look at some of the items in the swag bags that the Hollywood types receive at events? High end chocolate, iPod, tablet, etc? Or, the bunch of gift cards suggestion probably isn't bad either. Worst case scenario, you could go the "uncle at Christmas" route and just stuff bags full of $20s

Thank you for the suggestions!!! The bags will be given as gifts, so I want them to be a little over the top and not filled with crap. After a little research, I think a mix of items will be the best way to go... I'd like for everyone to like what they get in their bag, so I'm going to slightly customize each bag per girl.

Are there any items that you would find offensive or tacky that I should stay away from?

Good things: High-end self tanner, exfoliation kits or gift cards to a local salon/ skin care spa are universal. Wolford stockings or thigh-highs, lip plumper, eyelash conditioner, maybe a gift cert for hair extensions. Good make-up brushes and cleaner. I'm thinking, stuff you want but isn't a huge priority and isn't size-dependent.

If I'm invited, fancy wine-bottle stoppers are always appreciated :-D

maybe look at the website Sephora for gift sets, they have makeup/hair/perfume sets. maybe body wash /lotion spa kits w/ nice robe. thongs and lingerie pieces like someone said. maybe a nice piece of jewelry. nail polish sets, maybe certificate get nails done or tanning salon, hair salon etc. teeth whitening kits, gym memberships, maybe cute leg garters or money purse/money bag wristlet type thing-You could put giftcards in it! Maybe have thongs personalized or booty shorts pressed with lettering to say things on them for novelty or to wear depending on the club. I wouldn't give only gift cards, I think it would be fun as hell to get a gift bag filled with goodies and go thru it. Them girls are lucky and going love it.
