    Default cams.com model rules

I was going through the model rules for cams.com and notice that they will suspend or terminate you for work multiple sites.

Now of course most models these days are working more then one site at one time to make sure they are making their daily targets.

Just wondering how do you girls feel about these rules on these sites. yes most of them I don't like but I was making money from them so I didn't care too much about them and followed majority of them.

If cams is someone's main site then I could see how it would be a problem, but it seems like one of those sites people just work to supplement their income from the main sites like SM, MFC, or AW. So it's not like there's anything to lose. I was going to split with cams but I'm having sign up problems, if I end up working there I'll probably just try to be subtle about it and keep my fingers crossed.

Honestly, I could care less about rules like this haha. There are TONS of cam sites to choose from, if I get banned from them it is no trouble at all to work other sites instead.

I'm the one making money for THEM. Cam sites are a dime a dozen.

I think its a stupid rule. Their site doesn't have enough traffic or paying members to expect any cam performer to only work on there.

This is funny, I just hung up the phone with a model rep helping me with broadcast and her EXACT WORDS

"models usually split cam and that causes issues but you use different computers for each of your sites"

so since I was having tech issues.... I asked why would a model split cam? trying to act dumb as fuck and her reply....

"a lot of models split cam when it is slow, very normal. There are boards where models talk about this, you may want to join one"

Being "dumb" I asked her if it was OK to split cam and her answer was..

"of course as long as your computer can handle it and you have a decent computer"

I literally just hung up the phone.

I have never read the rules for cams. I have been there 4 years, I learned every time they suspended my ass for something and this was not one of them.

Matter of fucking fact LOL the new model rep came in my room a few months ago.. free chat .. it took him forever to get my attention, he had to take me private and we briefly chatted but he knew I was on another site bc I told him. He asked what he could do to "improve the site" and I said "actually pay us 45% and stop chargebacks". He said he took a note and was happy for my input

I have been banned for stupid things like not being directly in front of my cam.

I swear they dont read their own damn rules unless they where recently updated.

Now you have sparked interest , time to read rules

Maybe they mean actually split camming? It's against the rules for SM too. But models do it anyway. It's not against the rules on SM to work more than one site at a time. But if you're streaming the same feed to two sites (or more) then you're breaking the rules for SM because they OWN your feed (the footage) and don't want you broadcasting it to more than one site. So maybe that's what cams.com means? On SM they can probably tell if you're splitting because you have to choose the software instead of the cam in the encoder. That's probably in your encoder logs. But I've never heard of anyone there getting suspended for it.

So I guess don't worry about it? All sites seem to be so different regarding which rules they actually enforce.

I was banned from STREAMATE for split camming. Again, Two separate comps/cams. A model snitched Cleared it up w SM about the feed AFTER they lifted the 72 hour ban. Next time it will be a 7 day ban.

That's insane. Why the hell would someone turn you in for that? Stupid. And it doesn't make sense that Sm would ban you for streaming more than one site when you weren't even "splitting" in the first place. /tj

The rules in the model login page are in a template when you click model rules from the help tab none of them are detailed clear and when I sent an email asking about it I didn't get an answer on it I got an automatic message asking em to verify my account.

I know I see girls all the time splitting their cam to work multiple sites I have done it a few times, Cams.com is my main site has been for a decade. I am happy they have kept my account active with my long hiatus them and streamate are my top site. but as for the rules not 100% clear expect for the extreme nudity, toys and giving out info rules.

Damn that's crazy. I really dont see why any cam site cares about split camming. They seriously pay us low percentages and on slow days you have to split cam sometimes. If they suspend me I will tell them pay me 50 percent and I won't split cam. I like you split cam using two different computers and camera's.

Jealousy, hated by others, the things that make us successful. No biggie, it did nothing but bring me closer to SM I did loose 3 days and will never forget it.

the same feed. two companies using the same feed for promos.
Yes I have two different cams but the feed was almost identical. They where kind enough to show me the screenshots models turned in to prove to me that it did appear the same feed.. it was not but it was close. I respected that, water under the bridge. One of my first lessons of not letting everyone know where I actually cam daily
