Default Approached by Motley Models to do pro porn, is it legit?

I'm primarily a cam girl based out of Washington State, but recently someone who follows me on Tumblr hit me up about getting signed to a professional porn agency in California. 'Motley Models'.

I talked to them on the phone today, and they're promising about 1k per G/G shoot. Has anyone heard of this agency before? Is it worth it to get into 'real' porn? I don't really like the idea of not owning all the videos I star in, but if I could shoot 4 times a week and start making 4k a week my mind might be changed...

Obviously I'm going to get their business ID and check to make sure that they are registered with the state of California before I get on any flights, but some girls with first hand experience would go the extra mile for me.

Thanks in advance for any responses!

Somebody asked about this same company on another thread....

    https://www.stripperweb.com/forum/sh...-Motley-Models

Thats a wise idea to check out business credentials or check referrals before getting involved with any business.

In California, 'Motley Models' have did some good work and treated their models fairly well to my understanding. However, they have did mostly glamour nude, gangbang, and girl/girl shoots. I have used some of their models photos for my phone sex characters in the past and the owner Dave sold them a price wonderful price. They check out wonderfully.

LATATA WELCOMES MÖTLEY MÖDELS TO LICENSED AGENCY ROSTER

    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

LATATA Welcomes Mötley Mödels to Licensed Agency Roster

Adult Industry Trade Association Endorses Dave Rock’s Agency as 8th Member

AUGUST 19, 2013 – LOS ANGELES, CA – Adult industry non-profit trade organization LATATA welcomes Mötley Mödels to its roster of approved, licensed agencies. LATATA’s mission is to diminish the myriad of unlicensed and illegally operating talent agencies within the adult entertainment industry; to that end, the addition of Mötley Mödels is also an endorsement that the agency is properly licensed by the State of California to conduct business as a talent agency / agent.

Chris Caine, LATATA member and Foxxx Modeling agent, says, “I’m very happy Dave from Mötley Mödels has joined LATATA. We welcome his contribution and feedback. It’s very important to have all the licensed adult agents operating under one umbrella; this unity affords us better communication and allows us to execute immediate calls to action when the industry has any concerns regarding situational protocol. Since the formation of LATATA, I have seen numerous improvements for talent, studios, directors, and the industry as a whole.”

Mötley Mödels aims to provide the safest working environments possible, with legitimate production companies, so represented talent, and the talent they work with, and have a great experience while in the adult entertainment industry.

“We have been considering joining LATATA for quite some time,” says Mötley Mödels President and CEO Dave Rock. “I have watched their activity closely since obtaining our talent agency license in early 2011 and have been impressed with their actions. With current pressing issues such as Measure B and the constant pursuit to find the best testing methods for our talent, I thought the time was right to become a part of the team. We are very excited to join the association, and look forward to contributing to make this industry better for all.”

LATATA is committed to the advancement of licensed talent agencies and the interest of their actor clients, through advocacy, education, and the promotion of ethical trade practices. Current LATATA members include LA Direct Models, Adult Talent Managers, Spiegler Girls, Foxxx Modeling, Type 9 Models, Matrix Models, OC Modeling, and now, Mötley Mödels.

From what I know they are a pretty upstanding agency, as far as porn agencies go at least.

What sounds pretty off to me is the $1000 per girl/girl scene. That sounds pretty damn high for even well known porn girls.

From what I under stand girl/girl rates are normally closer to $500-$800 minus agent fees, AIM tests, your own wardrobe, and anything else the agent can ding you for, like a driver, rent for use of a house/condo etc. 4 shoots a week seems pretty damn high as well, maybe if you do a fly in for a week a go home for a month, but 4 a week every week just isn't going to happen.

Keep your eyes and ears open when talking to them.

    Now that's thinking green!

Yeah, I mean I would go there for a week and bang out as many shoots as possible while I'm there. Then continue to cam when I come home.

Thanks for the heads up on the going rates though. It's really valuable to know where they're trying to exagerate

    "they're promising about 1k per G/G shoot."

^^^ More like $500-$700 honestly. Especially when the agent takes 10-15%
