    Default Broken Ankle

So, I broke my ankle about a month ago. I had to have surgery on it right away, and I've been non-weight bearing ever since. I have about 3 more weeks to go before I can begin to put weight on it (in a boot) and start PT. So in total, I'll be out of work for about 2 months. Being out of work right now is killing me financially. Summer was slow anyway, but now that I still have all the same bills and no $$ coming in, I'm really struggling. I was hoping to get right back to work after I finish PT (in 3 or 4 inch heels....those were the shortest I could find.) However, all I've been hearing from people is that it's going to hurt to stand for extended periods of time, I won't be able to wear heels again, my ankle will never be the same, etc. I really can't afford to take any more time off work, and I honestly don't know what I will do if I have to. Has anyone here been through this? I could really use some words of encouragement right now.

You could always get platform shoes and wear big chunky leg warmers over them so people can't see they're not heels.

Ooh, the leg warmer thing sounds like a good idea! What would you wear those with though? I work at a gown club, it seems like leg earners would look kinda weird with a gown. (I guess I've just never seen it done before.)

@GlamourRouge, I considered camming, but my problem is that I am not at all comfortable doing masturbation or toy shows, and from what I've read on here, my understanding is that it's rather difficult to make any money if you don't. Lmk if I'm wrong though. Also, I really do want to get back to dancing again. I was just really hoping there was someone on here who would be able to say, "Look, that happened to me too, and you're going to be fine. I am." That would make me feel a lot better.

I don't do those anymore, but its really hard to get to the top at first without doing them

Make clips. There is actually a category for hopping on 1 foot, crutches, scar fetish, feet, etc. It's not dancing income, but it's something.
