OP, you're very defensive about being a wholesome family man and non-pervert, but none of the girls ever even said anything about it. I think YOU'RE the one who needs reassuring that visiting strip joints doesn't make you immoral.

You also seem bitter that the girls' affection is feigned. If you're just there to look at beautiful women and be entertained, why do you care that they're only pretending to like you? You have no need to play a role in the club the same way the dancers do, because you're only there to kick back and enjoy. By parading the fact that you give a fake name and are not really yourself in the club (although we don't care who you are or aren't), it seems like you're trying to get even. Like it hurts your feelings that dancers are not truly your friends and you're retorting by telling us you're not our friend either. Except no one cares but you.

If you're looking to meet people who will genuinely care for you, go to a normal bar.

Just like any other human being who does any other job, we all have unique personalities. Some individuals have a more pessimistic outlook on life and hate everyone and the world, and others are more positive. I hate NO ONE, and why would I hate customers for no reason. Don't over think it too much.

One aspect not touched upon is that some people like to compartmentalize their work and private lives. Meaning keeping things seperate which would entail minimum contact with customers outside of work, or "talking shop" with coworkers or anyone else on time off.
I've never hung around a club prior to opening (beach, lake, golf, and other activities beckon), but I have noticed a bit of this when I arrive at club close to shift change.( day/mid changeover to night). Arriving dancers aren't always "dolled up", and make a beeline from lot, to entry door, through line, main floor to dressing room as quickly as possible. Exceptions being dancers who recognize me do a quick "hi". In a prior life, I'd often cringe when people asked me what I do for a living as the inevitable "stupid questions you hate to answer 1000 times" would pop up. So it goes with dancers.
    I'm right 96% of the time. I don't sweat the other 5% .......................

I can only think of one customer I actually hate. And he didn't even do anything to me. He terrorized a girl I worked with to the point they ended up in court (with me as a witness). Anyway, I don't even really hate him. Guy was loony toons. Sometimes I will hate a customer in the moment, when he's doing something retarded. That happens a lot. But, it's not like I go home seething over the guy who got a 40 min VIP and tried to pull his dick out EVERY time my back was towards him. I get over stuff pretty fast. So no, I don't hate customers. I like a few of them. And the rest are just... customers. I think of most of my customers the way a Walmart checker thinks of hers. In the come, out they go. Thank you for shopping.

I don't know sometimes (fuck it all the time) I get way more turned on by the hot dancers in casual clothing rather than stripper dresses. Leaves more to the imagination and damn do some girls have amazing fashion sense...even for casual. Unfortunately I'm always busy whenever the club opens up so I can't catch them divas while they just walking in. Now I wish it is t so impractical to have a casual stripper day.

I don't know. I think it might be more beneficial in the long run if you thought of it as a small investment that could potentially lead to big profits in the near future. Mabey a small thing like being the only dancer that said hello somehow impresses the customer and actually improves your chances with him later in the evening. Mabey it adds some authenticitity to your frienship game and now, he doesn't think you are so "stuck on yourself," accepts your offer for a lap dance, and becomes a regular. Mabey it's not such a good idea from a marketing perspective to advise potential customers to come back later, but be mentally prepared to go to work the moment you hit the parking lot.

Hating implies that I give customers any thought. No I don't hate customers or men. (What do I look like, a feminist?)
Anyways, unless someone gives me a reason to hate them I'm generally indifferent to customers. I'll make small talk if I bump into them outside but I've never seen it as helpful or harmful. The only exception to the rule is female customers. I loathe them on sight and they're innocent until proven guilty.

What gets me is that the OP thinks that strippers owe him attention and that they're wrong for not wanting to acknowledge him on their way into work. Nobody owes you shit. Women don't owe you attention. We don't owe you a smile, an acknowledgement or the validation of your existance.

Also, it's fucking weird to wait outside of a strip club before it opens. Almost every guy that's ever tried to talk to me in the parking lot was either hitting me up for free sex or had an axemurderer vibe.

Wait in your car like everybody else and quit being skeevy.

Lol it is surprising to me how frequently I have heard ladies dating their customers they met at the club. Not my style though. I am there to pay bills and go to sleep. I don't understand wasting my time like that when I could meet someone normal outside without all that crazy baggage. Dancers are not all the same with what they are okay with, however.

I don’t think it’s to do with the stripper. You don’t think all strippers are the same do you, like why would they all hate men. So do you think all strippers think all customers are the same. The first time I went to the club, I saw all these guys and actually I thought they weren’t very nice to the dancers, but I don’t know why, like they didn’t offer to buy a drink or anything. Things have changed a lot and I didn’t know if it’s all in my head or if clubs have changed. Some dancers will hate customers, and hate themselves, and in my opinion they shouldn’t dance. I think you still get these stupid customers, you know the ones that just go to laugh or ask if the dancer wants a gangbang and then laugh, stupid idiots. But then hopefully dancers don’t think all men aren’t like that. Honestly, about the whole thing, like you have a wife, then you will come across as a man who keeps secrets from his wife, maybe women instinctly hate that. Who knows, I’m not married, but clubs should be a judge-free zone, and most dancers know that?
I do a type of dance myself and do performances, part time, so I love dancing, and I love watching dance to see how someone expresses themselves, I know she doesn’t fancy me, it’s loke acting but through dance. And I always appreciate them letting me watch, and I always buy drinks. Dunno man, sure they’re are jerks there but you can only control who you are, and I’m sure there are some dancers who hate men, but definitely not all, and can’t you tell from the dance? I know one thing, the man leads, in any dance, even if he’s sat down, the energy transfers, he encourages the lady, he asks but does not force, so if you have the right energy then she will too. Ie. You hate them and they will hate you.

There has been one customer who has truly invoked my wrath.
Before a private dance, with a first time customer, we have a little chat, and we make it clear that they understand where hands may and may not go.
There is a very noticeable scar on the left side of my neck. And that - aside from the obvious places - is the one place you must NEVER touch me. I will lose my shit so quickly if I’m touched there, and I am explicitly clear about this. The one person who pushed it wasn’t a man - it was a woman - and she received a bloody nose from catching a sharp elbow before being ejected by the bouncers.
Customers have pissed me off and/or creeped me out more than once, but that’s the only time I could really describe what I felt as hatred.
Short answer to your question, no. Sometimes we’re a bit wary of smiling faces before we even get started, though.

I'm a dude and waiting outside the club, to greet dancers, is creepy as fuck.

On a related topic, I hope the number of dancers who hate men is very small. For them, life must suck to go into work every day and hate your customers. This sounds like burn out to me and time to move on to doing something else. Life is too short to spend 5+ hours/day surrounded by people who drain you emotionally. That goes for any job.

A dancer is an entertainer, a professional performing a service. A professional who hates or disdains her customers by default won't last long so I don't think this is a common issue. A sort of cool detachment is only natural though, and I don't mind that at all. I go to SCs for an illusion, not to find a friend. As long as the entertainer does a good job maintaining that illusion, her detachment doesn't bother me. Actually, it can be kinda hot.

What I find interesting though are the comments from some of the ladies in various threads about guys with fetishes. The contempt, the judgmental attitude is surprising to me given how much contempt strippers themselves incur socially. You'd think they'd learn something from that (like, don't fucking judge.) But that's apparently not what happens with some. Maybe some need someone or something else to disdain to feel better in turn.

You do realize that this is their support site, where they can come to vent and share with other entertainers, no? This includes sharing whatever disgust they may feel over some of the things they see and are asked to do. If seeing behind the curtain makes you feel judged, then maybe you should either develop a thicker skin or avoid looking in the first place.

I don’t think we hate all customers. It’s more the case that we get a lot of men a night wasting our time and sometimes making very rude comments about us. There’s a lot of people who come in assuming that it’s not for them cuz it’s dirty and cuz they don’t wanna really be there and their friend dragged them.

    We hate that.

It’s a simple case of etiquette. When you come in you should tip in stage, go for at least one dance and be respectful. If not then don’t come to the club. Go watch porn. That’s what we don’t like. It’s our job and I do love dancing but when you have people that are rude and think they are better than the place you work it’s not nice.

As a man, I've gotten to see this from both sides. My girlfriend dances in a bikini bar one afternoon a week to de-stress (she has a full time job) and sometimes I hang out at the bar with her. She is obviously having fun, and has an amazing memory for guys who may show up only once in several months (these are mostly mature, gentleman types). She likes these guys.

[you don't look for love in a club, but something clicked between her and I during a private dance about 4 years ago, quickly became ATF, and eventually full on lovers. Go figure.]

There have been more than enough cases of stalkers waiting outside for dancers, checking to see what car they drive and more. So of course we have a good reason for not wanting to talk to customers outside of work and being weirded out by guys randomly chatting us up in the parking lot.

Honestly, it's just short of being an invasion of privacy. I've seen a few guys do this over the years. It's usually the cheap, delusional, or gropy. You don't want to get lumped into those categories. Let me guess, if you saw a stripper at a store or restaurant, you'd say hi then, as well? Also, I don't hate all customers, but some are abusive, cheap, or overly attatched.
