I have a few friends, but they all work in super high scale clubs and are all size 2 to 4 with fake boobs. That is the norm at their club. I am at a size ten with natural, but still pretty perky DDs, so I don't feel "toned" enough more than anything, but I do have a good hour glass shape. Do guys actually want to pay for a dance from a girl my size or do I need to get down to at least an 8? I know that I am pretty enough in the face(I'm exotic looking. People often think that I am half Asian or Native American(which I am partly) and I work in customer service and get hit on often, but it's not the same as being in a club. I just don't want to waste my time and money as the nearest club is about an hour away. I want to be sure that I'm where I need to be first. My city choices are either Mobile or New Orleans. Do you guys know of a decent club where a thicker chick could make decent money right now? Am I just over analyzing? lol, Any info will be appreciated.
Hi Lakota! I dance in Mobile, at Sammy's (the only truly decent club in the area, if you ask me) and there really are girls of every possible description there. And, although no one is really getting rich at any club in Alabama right now, thicker girls don't necessarily make less than skinny ones do. In fact... don't know if you've noticed, but most dudes down here appreciate a woman with some "meat on her bones".
I'm thinking of one girl in particular who I would think is at least a size 12, but she wears it well, and has a pretty face, and seems to do just fine.

I definitely won't be working near my period because I gain a lot of water wait no matter my salt intake. I do eat really healthy, mostly pureed fruits and veggies and then grilled meat twice a day as well. I just need to get my ass back in the gym. Also, I wear glasses so I was curious about how much that affects things. I get a lot of "sexy librarian" comments, but who knows with men?

K, I just now looked at your pics. I don't know anything about hiring standards in Nola, but I think you would do just fine at any club in Mobile, from the get... but, yes, you would make more if you toned up some. Good news is, once you are dancing regularly, just the job itself should help you firm up pretty quick... as long as you also work out most days. Speaking of which... gotta go work out now.

You could always wear a waist cincher or corset...those were my saviors in my Fatty Mcfatfat days.

These aren't in any particular order but you can see my progression. I got myself fat and I got myself skinny. I will never allow myself to get like that ever again.

I can definitely see what you guys mean about the difference of being toned or not from those pics. It doesn't look like it was a huge transformation, but you can definitely tell the difference as far as looking tight.

I wasn't take-up-two-airplane-seats fat but I was definitely heavier than I needed to be at my height.

I wish I could look like you were when you were fatty mcfat. I used to look like that.... Onto the carrot sticks and high protein dinners! Getting a gym membership with the money I make this weekend!

It's stupid how much of a difference a few inches makes!

What kind of a club are you trying for? If you're trying for a mid tier I'd go for 10llbs at least. I don't know how many tats you have but if you busted your ass and lost 20llbs you could possibly get into an upscale place. I think you've very pretty. If I didn't think you could get into an upscale club I wouldn't bother telling you to try. For most upscale clubs it's not my size so much as my tattoos. I made my choices long ago and I'm happy with my tattoos.

You, on the other and may as well make the most of your potential. In this industry you can never be "too small". Don't try to crash diet because you'll end up with a bunch of loose skin. I just think you should lose as much weight as you can without starving yourself. You are a small person. I am small. most people don't understand how much of a difference 10-20llbs can make on us.

Girl, you're gorgeous. I'm glad someone already mentioned the stripper fat vs civie fat. That's really important for new girls to understand so they can work on their bodies without feeling like shit about themselves, because if you feel like shit, you want to eat more shit. Very counter productive! You look kind of like I did when I first started. I was a 12, but 5' 7". And I went down, up, and then down a lot in my weight in the three years I've been working. Now I'm an 8 and I'm not overweight anymore even by the crazy BMI chart, but clubs (mgmt) are still just as difficult as they were for me when I was a size 12 even though I look pretty damn good now. My goal is a size 6. I hope that will be just small enough that these dumb problems with club mgmt will stop because I have always made good money, and contrary to what other girls have said, my income has not increased with my weight loss. It has increased slowly and steadily over my dancing career, but that's due to better hustling skills I think than anything. I do believe that for most girls that rings true, but just throwing it out there that for me it didn't. Or it hasn't yet. Maybe I'll see a huge jump when I get down to a 6, who knows. Anyways, as far as size goes, it will affect you more with getting hired than anything else. I think you should be able to get hired somewhere decent, the south seems to be pretty kind to curvier ladies unlike places like LA or NYC for example. If you have the balls I'd go for it now, you'll lose more weight faster if you're working and it will also give you an extra incentive (I always slacked on my dieting during periods where I would stop working) to stick to whatever plan you chose. I would recommend eating as many meals paleo style as you can as soooo many people on here and in general can speak to not only its effectiveness in weight loss but in improving general health and wellbeing too!

The other thing you need to be aware of is how to dress. Do NOT. I repeat, Do NOT walk around in an itsy bitsy teenie weenie bikini if you don't have the itsy bitsy teenie weenie body to match. Wear dresses and classy lingerie and SHOWCASE THOSE BOOBIES. Always have impecable hair and make up.

Also DO NOT STARVE YOURSELF! You will gain the weight back and it sucks!!!!! Portion control and calorie management. I eat 1200-1400 a day. Fish, chicken, vegatables, fruits and drink LOTS of WATER!!! NO SODAS!

I can't go to the gym right now but I'm still eating clean to compensate.

To get hired, yes your size and overall appearance matter.

Once you are hired....it's a different story...
