Are we supposed to assume they know this? Tell them ahead of time?Every once in a while I will meet a guy that did not know that I just danced for 5 songs at $20 per song..

Do you have different level dances on the floor at your club so they might think they were getting a cheaper one? Do you remind them every song or so what number you're on?

Take them in the middle of the song, & use that remainder of the current song to inform them of the price & get the first dance up front. Cost&time efficient both.

I tell them before the song starts, in English and Espanol (if applicable) so there is no confusion. I never stack dances either. Hell, this is just another way for me to upsell to a court.

They always know, they're just trying to get away with getting some free dances because they figure it's worth a shot. It certainly helps to explicitly say that it's $20 a song and/or to ask after the first song if they would like another to reiterate that.

I agree. They know. If they didn't, they'd ask.

Honestly, after what happened to me this past week, I will never leave any room for "confusion" again. I think every guy knows. They're just pretending they don't. Don't give them any excuses though; I know I won't.

I always tell them the price before I start dancing even if they say that they've been here before & know how it works. In the past there was a couple of customers who would tell me they know the price etc, and at the end be shocked that it's $20 per dance. Even though I now always let them know the exact price I still, occasionally, get one or two customers trying to tell me that "they didn't know" at the end.
So I don't take any chance and always mention it beforehand, unless he's one of my repeat customers obviously.
