    Question Lotions in Tanning salons..

Does anyone use, if so which ones, & are they good? I live near a (non-chain) tanning salon, & it smells so good when I walk past..they sell some lotions in individual mini packets for like 5.00 I see also Sally's carries some of them too, (also expensive) some had sparkle in them, firming, etc.
I don't tan a lot, I go in the sun for short periods of time (always 70 spf on face) then I sometimes use Jergen's gradual tanner to get a deeper effect.

Fiesta Sun Pink Pineapple Tini is my absolute favorite. I also like Australian Gold Fierce D Fence, and there is a Playboy facial lotion that is really good. In theory, you're supposed to use different types of lotions depending on what you're trying to achieve, and rotate them.

If you are looking for something reasonably priced, I really like Australian Gold Dark Tanning Accelerator (my boyfriend also loves the smell of it after I go tanning). Another one that smells really good which is higher priced is called "Conceited" by Designer Skin. Smells amazing!

You can order just about any tanning lotion online off of Amazon for a better price than salons sell it. Just make sure you are getting it from a trusted seller with good reviews.

There's a very recent thread "tanning or all natural" that recommends some, I think L'oreal & Sally Hansen are mentioned..I like the Jergens gradual one

For self-tanners I like the jergens gradual tan... For indoor tanning beds, Australian Gold.

I like really like Spellbound and Luminary bronzers by Designer Skin when I go in the bed.

My favourite moisturizer/extender is the Forever After by Australian Gold it smells amazing and light. I've purchased this product many times.

I want to try the conceited bronzer by designer skin.

Im thinking about tanning too. It never came across my mind until today.

Im caramel skinned lol (hence my SW name) and I have a red undertone. A lot of people think I wear foundation but I dont.

I want my body to have an even tone and I also want that "celebrity glow". I have no idea which self tanner to purchase for now. help please?

*In the future, Im going to get airbrushed

You usually can't go wrong with a green based tan if you are looking for a non orange looking glow. St Tropez, Bondi Sands and Skinny Tan are my go to tans atm. Otherwise, Le tan (dark) and Sally Hasen airbrush legs are great, effective wash on tans.

From my own experience this works just as well as the $100 lotions. Priced well, bronzer built in, and it has a tint to add color.

Okay, I ran two tanning salons with 50 beds in the for two years.

Companies give salons samples for free, they all see them but aren't supposed too.

Those bottles of tanning lotions cost the salon $1 to $7 each in which we would sell for $35 to $95... Haha I used to sell bottle for $95 all day long.

Now, do NOT leave them in your car the ingredient that makes you tan is what the sun & heat will make the bottle exploid or look like it was going to..

NEVER use an oil in the beds. The salon can sue you for the plexi glass it ruins $15o to $300 plus labor.

I do recommend you NEVER tan in a bed. There are many great self tanners available today. Or go for the spray tanning option at a salon.

    Sam
