I've been like this lately. I think it's because I just moved, haven't started working regularly and my schedule is all fucked up. I've been laying around a lot. I don't know why, but being inactive makes me feel poopy. I forget to eat, can't sleep.... Get restless and irritated... I need to get busy and start getting myself together. I think I'll feel better then.

Get your thyroid checked. <3

thanks I've hyperthyroidism too

I am genetically iron deficient so I have some experience with this. Eat some spinach with citrus or take an iron supplement with a Vitamin C supplement. Eating red meat helps as well. It takes about two weeks for you iron levels to get totally normal so you need to do something pro-iron everyday. Iron is part of the heme in your hemoglobin so then you don't get the oxygen that you need when your iron is too low. It takes an average of two weeks for red blood cells to fully mature with iron attached so you'll feel really great in about two weeks. I'm tired, lol. Excuse the jumpiness of this post.

Oh, and cook with a cast iron skillet!
If you're low on Iron, take an iron vitamin. I also take B12 and it gives you energy.

Yeah if you are low on iron it will cause depression, tiredness, and nothing but replacing that iron and rebuilding your iron stores in your body will help that.
You can exercise but it will just wear you out even more because the body needs iron for so many things, especially for energy because the red blood cells can not carry enough oxygen to your cells without it.
I had heavy bleeding with my periods and got so low on iron my iron stores were used up and had the most horrific tiredness. I took Slo-iron supplements and did my best to get iron in my diet too and had a very dramatic improvement. You really need to take the extra iron for a few months to rebuild your body when your iron stores are used up. Then you can cut back to a normal amount of supplementation or attempt to get enough in your diet.
edited to add - Definitely follow Lakota's advice there about the Vitamin C too because it does help the iron absorb.

They are diets that are centered around what our ancestors ate such as fresh fruits, veggies, nuts, and lean meats and you stay away from things that are processed. I'm doing it right now and feel much better and can see the difference in my body in only a week.

i have pretty bad depression, so i think that might be why im constantly tired too! no matter what, its like an inner exhaustion that just smothers me like some blanket and i can barely even get up off my butt to do ANYTHING! if i could, i'd sleep 11 hours a night and i bet i'd still be tired.
the ladies here have advised iron supplements and i've been taking wellbutrin and its helped a lot with depression/fatigue.
eating clean, lots of exercise, 8-9 hours of sleep a night ( not too little, not too much), and anti depressants that work for you will help! if its REALLY bad, it could be mono. my sister had it, and she did nothing but lay on the couch for months!

I'm going to start taking Niacinamide (a form of vitamin B3, I think it is) tomorrow because I have chronic lethargy. It started around two years ago and surprisingly Zyrtec helped, but hasn't "cured" it so I'm going the holistic route as well. I'll let you guys know in a few days if it helps.
