Hey, I'm just starting out in Melbourne! Have you found a club yet?

If you are just starting out then try out a few clubs to see which is the best fit for you . It's good to start on a slow night instead of a busy weekend night, don't throw yourself in the deep end. All of the inner city clubs are "non touching" except for Kittens in South Melbourne (contact is expected and allowed there, so it's not the best place to start out at). Use the search option on SW to find threads on Aus and Melb, there's a bit of info' on them that might help you.

^Visiting the club your are interested in is always the best way to get a feel of the club's atmosphere and suss out the staff, the other dancers and even the customers (i.e. blue or white collar etc).

But if you are going to do the rounds-why not go to the receptionist/person on the door and let them know that you are looking for a job (that way they will waver the cover charge and you might even get an interview/tour by management on the spot ).

Where are you thinking of visiting ?

i hadn't even thought about that! genius idea!
the two that i had always heard good things about were centrefold and bar 20, so they were the first two i was going to look at.
is there anywhere you would recommend?

I posted in club reviews, have a look there. We have at least 8 clubs in melbourne cbd.
As olive said, try the search function, just repeating the same info as I posted less than a month ago.

Besides, I prefer to save my best info for established SW members who've earned their stripes not 3 curious guests.

Take the initiative and do some research, most strippers have to try a club to see if it works for them, one size doesn't fit all. Who wants to work in a club flooded with girls because someone on the net told them it's good? I have moved around and done the legwork, I suggest any other curious guests do the same.
The newbie section is chock full of info from veterans who have taken the time to provide info for those who are interestd in helping themselves.
