Default Need a job no car

I'm planning to go in for an audition but I'm having trouble getting there. I really need to work and everyone I know has suggested I go into exotic dancing and I've always wanted to but I need to figure out a way to get there first! lol

Bus or other public transportation? If that's not an option and there's no club within walking distance, you'll probably have to cab it or get a friend to drive you.

I would feel more comfortable (for the audition at least) having a friend drive me but the thing is I'm having a hard time finding someone that is supportive of my decision. Like where does such a cool person exist? lol

Buy a bike. I did. I am now riding my bike to work every day and I like it.

I was thinking of taking the bus half way and then biking the rest of the way. Should I stop in a Publix bathroom to clean up first so im not all sweaty before I go into my audition?

But yeah... Spring for a cab or something, for ur audition. Don't show up at the club looking a sweaty, hot mess.

Thank you everyone for your suggestions! I'm going to try and see if someone can come with me! Also what would be the best type of heel to wear to the audition? I have a pair of black 5 in heel platforms with sort of diamond strap. I talked to one person before and they said it would be more professional to get the clear legitimate heels.

Are they stripper heels or regular shoes? Get some stripper heels, but they don't have to be clear. Stripper shoes come in every color of the rainbow.

Get plastic, platform stripper heels from Pleaser, Ellie, Jante, etc.... There's a reason dancers wear stripper shoes, not real life heels. If you come in with real stripper shoes, you'll look like you know what you are doing. If you come in with some heels from Bebe and a lingerie set from Victoria Secret, you're look will say, "I have never done this b4." That might be ok at some clubs.... But, you'll want real shoes anyway. Get them now. They are usually far more comfortable and easier to wear while you are working and dancing. Get some simple ones with that are 5.5 to 6.5 in high, with an ankle strap to start.

Check with the club, I guess. Most of the clubs I work at require 5.5 inches. I'm 5'7" and wear 8 inch heels. No one has ever complained.... You'll find lots of extra tall ladies in the club!! I think you might have a hard time finding stripper shoes under 5 inches.

Make sure to carry baby wipes on you if that happens. They're good for everything and will help you freshen up if you get all sweaty.

I personally don't mind being a giantess. I get that a lot in my shoes, "Wow, you're TALL!" But nothing with malintent or anything. Some guys like the tall look. But I agree with Jasmine.Doll, get some real stripper shoes if possible. The added platform makes it easier on your feet and the shoes will help push out your bum and chest and make you look thinner.

Yeah I don't mind walking in tall heels its just that every time I do I get negative feedback from guys but that was not in a strip club it was more like in church and comments from my ex boyfriend when he suggested I become a stripper but not with heels or I'll look like an NBA basketball player :/

I definitely would NOT go to dinner/a regular club/church in my 8 inch stiletto platforms. Then again, I wouldn't wear hot pink sequined panties to any of those places either. So yeah, strip clubs have different dress codes. You'll look weirder in short heels than you will in high heels, at the strip club.

Wear your most comfortable pair of heels. You'll be on your feet in them for a few hours, so focus less on their appearance and more on their comfort. Usually a platform is more comfortable than not, but civilian shoes can vary a lot. Don't worry about being tall either. Guys dig Amazons. I'm 5'8" and rock 6" heels. You'll be fine.

A white sparkly bikini sounds fine. Whatever you wear, make it easy to take off and put back on and something that makes you feel sexy. Call ahead to ask about dress code just in case.
