    Default Off-Season?

    Hey ladies,
Just wondering if you could give me your two cents about when escorting usually sees some off-season periods. I read on another board that "this time of year" is always slow, so I'm wondering, when are the other times? For that matter, when is peak season, if there is one? Any and all input is greatly appreciated!!

This is actually the start of busy season, after school starts. Basically, expect any events/periods involving big expenditures or time away (family holidays, taxes, tuition, vacation) to be slower. Where're you located? My post is specific to the northeast. Business tends slow down here in the summer as clients go away on family vacation abroad, spend more time with family, etc. The ladies below make good points about location.

Season and off-season vary a lot based on where you are located/working. Take summer, for example: it can be quiet in some areas but booming in others that are big tourist destinations.

Yup, location plays a huge role. Like down here in FL, a lot of our residents are only here part time..we are a mecca of 2nd winter homes. Plus tourists arent really trying to visit in summer cause of heat and humidity, so from around May to Sept its painfully slow...but biz is way better up north so many of us tour during that time.

I also find that Jan is a very slow month...for one its the worst of the winter in most northern states, plus thats when people are getting and paying off their cc bills from the Nov / Dec holiday season. The week of any major holidays suck. Also the few weeks of high school / college graduations suck too....

Generally, I find that late Sept to early Dec are great, and then around Mar / April are great. The rest of the time, Im trying to tour to other areas where its better than how it is around here.
Don't blink. Don't even blink. Blink and you're dead. Don't turn your back. Don't look away. And don't blink!

Location, location, location my dear. I happen to live in a beach town and we do great in the summer because all the guys from up north or other parts of the country have a summer house down here so they come and party. Oct-Nov is usually a good time for the ladies as well, don't know why though. Then things drop usually the first week of December and it's dead from then on. Overall I would have to say the worst months have got to be Jan-Feb.
