    Default Caffeine pills?

I've been having such a hectic schedule and living on coffee... Not something I really complain about since I like feeling accomplished but I'm worried about staining my teeth!! I will be getting a teeth whitening treatment soon but don't want to be at my dentist's office every 3 months lol....

A friend of mine suggested caffeine pills but he never used them... I did a little research and read about the side effects, especially the risk of taking a dose that is too strong... Or taking too much since it's harder to control our intake (it's easier to take more pills in comparison to dranking 2 Liters of coffee...).

I was wondering if anybody has ever tried them and your comments?!

I have 200mg of caffeine pre-workout (Each pill is 50mg).

I have a high tolerence to caffeine.

Just try the recommended dose on the packet and see how awake you feel compared to coffee.

the one time i remember taking them i was heading to work..as soon as they kicked in, i turned my car around, got home, and hopped in bed hiding under the covers thinking i was going to have a heart attack from sheer panic and a sense of imminent doom, it was SOOO bad. never touched the stuff again..its nothing like real coffee IMO. maybe try drinking it through a straw?

I've taken caffiene pills since I was 14...not consistantly for the past 17 years lol but off and on, sometimes regularly for as long as a few months (like 2-3 times a day) and I never had any ill side effects, but some definitely do have experiences like Simone had...if I were you, I'd start off with trying 100 mg or maybe even smaller if you are very worried about it. See how a smaller dose makes you feel. Mine are 200 mg each and that is what I've always taken.

I take energy pills daily but found some sample pack from gnc in my cabinet the other day. Pretty much the same thing happened to me as simmone. I thought I was going to die! I had to take 6 kolonopin to feel normal. I was literally pulling my hair out I felt so weird. Aderrall doesn't do that to me. The pills were loaded with caffeine.

Let's put it this way.....I have tried numerous things..... I have also been on ADHD meds, no problems. However I did the caffeine pill thing once and seriously, I was overheating so bad I had to put a frozen loaf of bread on my head....checking my pulse every 5 seconds, super paranoid.....and I have NEVER felt this way from any other stimulant, so I would vote: don't go there unless you want to have the panic attack to end all panic attacks.

Ugh, there is some other stuff in those pills, since they are not FDA regulated at the standards of RX medication, their literally could be almost anything in them. I think, I mean....there has to be....because the paranoia (as you well know) and feeling of impending stroke is overwhelming.

I wouldn't take a 200 mg pill, I would take 50 mg evety few hours until you feel fine. 200 is really strong.

you could also drink iced coffee thru a straw.

No-Doz and Vivarin and their store-brand equivalents are 200 mg. I take a whole one around midnight on nights I work. (I usually work from 9 or 10 until closing time, which is usually between 4 and 6.) You should be fine if your body is used to caffeine and you stick to one pill per shift, at least 4 hours after your coffee.

oddly enough Ive fallen asleep after taking a caffeine pill. No doz gave me the best doz, drinking a cup of black tea every hr and half/2 hrs keeps me pretty alert without that groggy feeling.

I always have some caffeine pills handy - however, I split them. Whole is just too much!
