    Default Bruises

I always get nasty bruises on my legs, mostly my knees and shins (from the floor&pole). They're huge and look pretty gross.
Do you ladies know of any ways to avoid getting them, or at least how to make them go away faster?
I don't think those knee high boots fit my style at all and body make up would probably just come off after a while or end up on guys' pants.
Besides looking gross they also hurt like fuuuu

take some iron? i heard that helps. how long have you been dancing? because if you are new, your body WILL toughen up..i mean even after almost 3 years i still get tiny little bruises but maybe wear thigh high stockings if you don't like the boots. also, maybe the self tanner you apply and then can wash off before work will help, i love loreal sublime bronze. also vitamin C and cold compresses

For the pain try Biofreeze, works well before a stage set. Epsom salt baths every dancing day too!

I've had some guys be very sweet to me when they see my bruises and in turn I end up making more money. Men like hard working dancers I guess, so don't fret about them too much.

    Oh wow this really helps!
I guess I'll be making a trip to Walgreens tomorrow.
I've been dancing for a little over a month, so I hope my body will get used to it. I don't even do anything crazy, but my skin just bruises easily.
