I went to a strip club this past weekend and a stripper asked me for a dance. I told her to ask my friend, except she kept asking me and never bothered to ask my friend. Is there a particular reason why she only asked me when I don't even look rich? What would you do in this situation?

. She should have asked your friend just in case though, unless he seemed rude or uninterested. Some guys think they are doing us a favour by saying, "No thanks. But ask my friend/s". The group might be there to have fun and spend, but the customer in question may be waiting for someone else, isn't ready yet or simply doesn't get dances. But, this is a "line", just like "maybe later" is a common line. Sometimes it's meant politely and translates into "I'm trying to get the stripper to leave with out seeming rude". Other times, guys think it's funny to set us on their mates, which is immature and wastes both of our time
. Either way, I'll quickly ask the friend, gauge his interest and see what happens
