Thumbs down Pamela Anderson before/after and now I'm scared...

    http://theoriginalgreenwichdiva.com/...l-yikes/38519/

So look at Pamela Anderson before ... and now after about 15 years.

This is scaring the shit out of me. Is that what I have to look forward to?

She hasn't even gained weight, its pure aging.

Please tell me I will not end up like this - and give me pointers on how!!

Maybe it's the hepatitis that is making her skin look soooo haggard?

Does she have a history of drugs?

I saw her on "Ellen" the other day and she looked NOTHING like that, it's probably just a bad photo.

Watch the drinking, drugs and smoking! These are the biggest dangers. Some drugs are worse for your looks than others of course, such as meth.

Stay out of the sun. People will give you shit for not having a tan, especially if you live in Florida or SoCal. But so what? In twenty years they will have dried up nasty wrinkled faces like leather, and you will not.

Avoid stress if possible. There are a host of moisturizers, etc. I have heard are great for preserving youthful looks, but I never had the patience to fuck with all that.

I've never been a fan of Pamela, not even back in The Day when all the guys were drooling over her. Though she DID look great before she got all the plastic (I saw some old photos). The obvious BA was a real turnoff from the getgo, and I think she went overboard on her face later as well.

I wouldn't go by how she looks on a televised talk show, after a couple hours in the makeup chair. I bet she looks worse than the pic in the OP, before she gets made up.

She's 46. She spent countless hours in the sun working on that Baywatch show. She has given birth to two kids. She went through some gnarly divorces and a stupid annulment. She has been suffering from Hepatitis C for over a decade.

Her genes aren't your genes. Some people age better than others. Sadness and illness play a role in the aging process too. Some folks that go through rough patches look very haggard. But you aren't her and she isn't you.

Like other people mentioned, sun protection is key. Healthy diet and hydration are important. Proper maintenance (whether it be workouts, simple cosmetic procedures/peels/treatments, etc.) will help.

Eventually we will all age. But it's better than dying young. Now quit furrowing your brow and freaking out... Or you'll just accelerate the process.

I don't see how the pic is that bad. She looks 46 to me (and in her body is in good shape). Why is it sooo bad to look your age?

I also think she looks way better than most 46 year olds.

People age differently. My mom is 64 and doesn't have wrinkles at all but some women I know my age look haggard and old. Many things age the body, from the sun, to poor diet, to drinking and drugs.

46 can look a lot of different ways. The fake/ barbie sexpot look just does not age well. When you check out other celebs in her age group or older, Halle Barry, Selma Hayek, Carrie-Anne Moss, Diane Lane, you see the women who avoided it tend to look great still today. Hell, Rebecca De Mornay is 54, check out her recent pics. One's fate isn't in the number of years you are around. In fact, I suspect that being so obsessed with appearance above all else backfires after a while. :-)

I agree that the sun-baked lifestyle catches up hardcore on a person's skin. Not being so thin that one's neck and arms go all stringy helps too.

Everyone has already covered why Pam looks like she does, but I'm one more vote for cutting out tanning, smoking, heavy drinking, and drug usage. For more hope, turn to Julianna Margulies (47), Julianne Moore (52), Lisa Edelstein (47), and Christine Baranski (61).

Have you seen her in motion though? Check out a recent interview on youtube..I think at her age she's still gorgeous. Beautiful figure and bone structure..so really it's just the quality of her skin thats meh. I'm pretty sure she hasn't had a bunch of plastic surgery/facelifts/fat grafts either while everyone else in Hollyweird has, so maybe we're shocked to see a natural ager? But yes there's many variables to aging--maybe you should buckle your seatbelt cuz we alllllll gonna get old and uglaaaay. Or move to the Santa Cruz mountains where people don't care what you do or what you look like..free at last.

I dunno if she has naturally blonde hair, but if so generally lighter complexions age faster. I really don't think she looks all that bad..

If you compare her other pictures she looks great!

but like everyone else, there's some years when she's super fit and then some years when she's a little blabby around the middle. I saw some picture comparisons while googling and she was unfit around 2004 or 2006, and then super fit in 2009.

Also, the dark makeup is a no-no in daylight, we all know that, AND she needs some self-tanner. I also think that her forehead is huge so she needs more of the wispy bangs she had before.

But never fear! Look at other pictures of her in 2013-- she's still hot, especially when she ditches the heavy makeup.

And whoever the costume coordinator is messed up. The bathing suit pulls down and in on her boobs making them look saggy and flatter, and there's not that tuck in beneath the boobs to accentuate her waist like in the old suit (I'm looking at online comparisons) so of course she looks more blabby around the middle.

This is also true of girls who get botox and fillers in there 20's. They think there preventing but in 10 years they look older than me. I traveled with a 25 year old and I was 42 (at the time) and people thought we were twins. She didn't look 42 but much older than 25. A lot of people thought she was my older sister. lol.

I don't think she looks that bad at all.
Also, on the recent picture, she's in a far less flattering position than the one of the young her, and her hair isn't down.
Michelle, I'm 31 and contemplating botox-too young still?I do worry about it. I went for a consultation for it aged 29 and luckily my very honest consultant told me to wait until I was 13 as she could not yet tell where I would develop areas for concern and she didn't want to make things worse for future....

What, is she not supposed to age? Time stands still for no one.

My mom, way older, did have lines (she smoked for a long time, quit, but also ate a lot of sugar & didn't use even moisturizer) had a beautiful luminosity to her skin that would rival someone years younger

^ same with my mom she's 60 and she has less wrinkles than some girls i've seen in their 20s!( the ones who tan). but she got that from extremely clean living..i mean no sun, no cigs, no alcohol, no drugs, and no sugar. i try and follow suit, hopefully i look that good at her age..her butt is also still perky lol, can't believe im saying that about my mom but still.
pam has does a ton of damage to her body with drugs, tanning, STDs, stress, etc. its a wonder she even looks that good

    http://www.becauseiamfabulous.com/20.../raquel-welch/ is 73 years old.

Botox & fillers can look natural. It depends on the doctor you choose & how far you take it. I use them & love it. 44 years old here.

Everyone has a bad day or bad lighting. Pam looks good. Most men hep c & all would give their left nut to fuck her.

Instead of worrying about someone else is aging is to focus on yourself instead & be the best you can be.

Life is life, no one should expect to look EXACTLY the same as they did 20 years ago. It just isn't realistic. How each person ages is not the same, so you really cant compare yourself to them.

    Smooches,
    Sam
