I recently made the decision to start dancing, and started out looking for places in Queens. I started at Starlets, danced there on two nights (a Thursday and Friday) and never went back after realizing there is NO money in that club (only on Sunday night). Like, so many of the girls would be in the back whining and complaining about only making their house fee back or leaving in the negative. I made crumbs the two nights I danced there; one night I only made back house fee, second night I left owing the house $10! Starlets has a name, and they're popular, but its weak and no money in there. I went over to NYC which is around the corner, and did good, made back twice my house fee, but the girls there do tons of extras and I don't. Not my kind of club.
I was thinking of going into Manhattan, but I hear the house fee's are crazy and what if I don't make any money? I don't want to not make money dancing, because then whats the point? I'm starting to realize, after talking to a lot of girls, there isn't a lot of money in stripping in New York. Down south is where the strip money is at. I would like to relocate to Houston or Miami, but those chicks are thick with big booties (I'm slim and have a small butt; fairly attractive/pretty). HELP! Where should I go? Stay in NYC? Try Jersey? Or take my ass to the south? Where do you girls work/how much do you make?

I don't think I'd send my worst enemy there. I think the superior thing about most Southern clubs is the very low house fees and cost of living. There's far less risk for a newbie. However, you have the problem of not having many international level ballers there. So you can do well but there's no reason to expect really transcendent 5 figure nights you could have in NYC, Vegas, etc. It really depends on what your money goals, lifestyle goals, etc. are.
