    Default Young Customers

I'm a relatively young customer myself (25). I just wondered what's your approach with the young customers? I've noticed a lot of times if I want a dance I have to go approach the dancer. It's not a problem because I always have a good time with them. However I notice that dancers will usually go sit down with a older guy and approach the older guy. I'm sure a lot of it is the perception that older guys have more money to spend than the younger guys.

So how does it work? If there's no older guys, do you then approach the younger guys? Maybe if there's no older guys you still don't approach the younger guys and wait for them to ask you for a dance? Are you a little uncomfortable around the younger guys? Maybe appearance has something to do with it?

Insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

yup, you got it. i will approach younger guys last, or not at all..i just generally dislike young guys in real life.. plus they don't have or spend as much money due to the fact that they are either in college or just starting out in their careers and can see more hot, young, naked girls for free than the older ones can. i hate that they come in groups! they are also rude, and usually just don't like my look. i find they go for the older, big-boobed strippers more than the small younger ones. just my experience. i have danced for younger guys, but like you said they usually approach me.
why would their appearance make us uncomfortable? like they are too hot and i get all flustered? lmao

My two bio lab partners are guys and we were all chatting about clubs and one mentioned the strip club, but he doesn't like to go "because you have to spend at least $30." LOL - at least, really? Then he followed up with gems like, "yeah strippers make mad money" and "my friend messed around with this stripper in VIP, but he had to pay like $80." This is a man in his mid-twenties relaying this information to me, no one knows I used to dance, but just hearing statements like that is why younger men don't get approached.

Now I know there are exceptions, young men that managed to mature beyond their years....usually however this is noticeable in their dress, mannerisms, voice volume (not drunkenly yelling), posture, etc. Also though, having matured beyond their age emotionally and mentally, they are more confident and will probably pick out the girl they like instead of needing to discuss it with their various "wingmen".

Younger guys tend to go for the more stereotypical looking strippers--blonde, tan, that sort of stuff. In my experience, they usually only want maybe one dance with me, and that's after they've decided who has the best boobs. They double check to make sure mine are natural, and I lie and say yes. They don't tip after dances, and they often hang on to each dollar like it's their last. Exceptions for me have been military fellows. They're rarely afraid to go for the alternative looking girls and often come in alone, which I prefer. Also, some blue collar fellows have tipped me a ton on stage despite barely being legal. But the average college-aged dude who comes in with a buddy and buys a beer doesn't like me enough to spend more than $20 tops.

Re: older v. younger guys, younger guys are usually cheaper/on a stricter budget. If you want to make that impression change, tip with fives when you want the girl on stage to come see you.

From my experience, younger guys tend to try to push my boundaries, don't tip, expect to get more for their money and then want me to be their girlfriend. Of course there are exceptions, but they often try to make me work harder for their money. I have a couple of regulars who are younger though but not many.

One funny anecdote, I remember meeting this young student in his twenties a year ago, he was respectful and fun to be with in the vip except he never tipped (the vip fee isn't that outrageous where I live)... I saw him back a couple of weeks ago when he came to see me . When I asked him what's new, he told me he finished his studies and is now working. To my surprise, at the end of the hour we spent together he gave me an extremely good tip. So it may be worth it to approach younger customers and treat them well if they are respectful even if they are not always the best paying ones...

@simone- intimidated was the wrong word, I meant nervous. I've had a couple of dancers tell me they were nervous around younger customers for whatever reason.

@tuesday-next time I will make it rain on stage to make a good impression! I do prefer the tan exotic looking girls with nice asses.

They may be nervous around younger customers because sometimes that line between "fantasy-flirting" and "flirting" gets a bit blurred when the age gap closes, so they don't want to give you the wrong idea or get the wrong idea themselves LOL - just one thought, although personally I like to date men 8 - 15 years my senior....but I could see how it feels weird when you are nearly the same age. It's as if, in the back of their mind they may be wondering: "does he know people you both mutually went to school with?" It's kind of a different sort of interaction, it gets a little too real when you feel like your are giving your classmate or co-worker (from a vanilla job) a lap dance.

I avoid younger guys in general. I feel like they constantly try to push boundaries, especially if they are good looking. In my experience theyre more about trying to get my number or see what Im doing after work they spending money.
Every now and then I come across young guys who understand strip club dynamics, but those guys are few and far between.

Back in the 80's I hung at a club that was pretty popular with local bikers and musicians. This was the pre-private dance era. Dancers worked for stage tips and the stage was always packed with guys putting up a dollar or two per song. A 20 minute set could net a dancer $100 or more and, with five or six sets a night that was good money-remember, this was the 80's. The thing is, those guys tipping at the stage were not going to get up and go back to the bar or a table since they didn't want to loose their place at the stage. The girls would come out of the dressing room after their set and hang with the cute musicians who never sat at the stage because they had no money to tip with. The girls didn't care, they were not in hustle mode when they were off stage. Quite often they wouldn't even leave the dressing room at all.

Today it's different. Stage sets are not where the money is. Girls need to sell dances and many younger customers don't buy them either because they can't afford them or because they think they can score with a dancer for free. Any dancer who is serious about making money will approach every guy over 30, preferably over 40, in the club before she goes near a younger guy. It's not just the money, it's the fact that older guys are not looking for date, at least not a free one, and are not looking to complicate their own lives much less a dancer's. If a seasoned dancer is nervous around a younger guy it has nothing to do with his looks. She just knows that there is a better than even chance that you are going to either waste her time, ask for her number or buy a dance and try to stick your finger in her ass....

FWIW, there are a lot of escorts who won't see guys under 30 or 40 for the same reasons.

Younger guys are my main customer base. I don't do very well with the old farts because of my tattoos. The younger ones are usually only good for one pop and then move on. I usually approach them first, oddly.

With young guys, it often takes FOREVER to sell a dance. They act like I'm selling them a space station to live on, after the earth dies. They ask 9 million questions. "Where do we go? Does that include a tip? What can we do? If I tip extra, can we so ____? If I tip a lot extra, can we do ____? What do most guys do? What's the craziest thing you do? Is it hard to dance for old guys? How much money do you make? How long is the dance? Can I pick the songs? Who gives the best dances here? Do you have a boyfriend? I know you have a boyfriend, just tell me. Why are you lying to me and saying you don't have a boyfriend? Do you ever date customers? Why not? Where do you live? When do you change your outfits? If I got a show, could you wear white? Does this place teach you to do pole tricks? So you really won't fuck me? Not even for $50?"

Then, inevitably they say, "Ok. I'll think about it."

A conversation between two of my guy friends (26 and 23 years old) in the car tonight as they went to drop me off at home.

"Randy wants to go to the strip club. He's never been."
"I don't like the strip club."
"I don't like the strip club either... but it seems to be a little more fun when you're drunk."
"But I don't want to spend money."
"You don't have to. Just sit there and chill."

Good points, one dancer told me she prefers the older customers because they are respectful and the young guys always want sex. Come to think about it, I've probably tried to push the boundaries in a couple of situations. The dancers didn't seem to mind, but maybe I should of let up a little bit.

Speaking of the older customers I know money rules all, but don't you get grossed out dancing for some of the old men? How long does it take you to get comfortable dancing for fat, ugly, old men? No disrespect intended to the older customers, but if I was female stripping in my 20's I think I would be a little uncomfortable dancing for guys in their 50's and 60's.

Dancing for a random dude in his 20's is the same as dancing for a random dude in his 80's (as long as both are respectful and normal). It's just a lapdance, dude. It's not a love connection. Lapdances are just part of the job. Grinding on dudes you aren't into isn't anymore thrilling, just b/c he's young and has a normal BMI. And generally young guys are pushier, cheaper, less respectful than older customers. Older customers understand that a lapdance is a simple exchange of a service for money. Young guys don't get this. They are way more likely to have bizarre and unrealistic expectations. Even when young guys are sweet and respectful, they generally make me more uncomfortable than experienced strip clubbers. The young guys who don't know what to expect and are really nervous tend to be really awkward. They have that deer in headlight look. I've done so many dances for guys who are new to the strip club who are too nervous to talk and keep their shakey hands lightly on my waist the whole time b/c they are scared to touch (even though I've clearly stated the rules 8 times). They stare blankly into my stomach for the whole session and never make eye contact. Then run out the door, at the end without a word. Awkward. I hate that shit.

On a side note, my favorite thing is when the guys who are genuinely terrified during a VIP return their friends and act like hardcore players. They will be too scared to breathe during the dance, barely touch me with their shaky, sweaty hands, then go back to their buddies and are like, "Dude!!! That girl was a freak!!! She totally shoved her hand down my pants and grabbed my dick and I didn't even ask her to! Then she ripped off her top and shoved her tit my my mouth. Girl was a freaking nympho man!!! Crazy!!"

Well, if you were female, in your 20's and dancing for a living you would be one broke-ass dancer. Fact is you aren't capable of thinking like a dancer thinks because you aren't capable of thinking like a woman thinks. You keep trying to put forth the theory that there must be some sort of sexual attraction between the dancer and customer to either make her interested, horny or nervous around a customer. The point is, and several women here have been telling you this since you joined this site, It Just Doesn't Matter! It's all about the money. Not partially about the money. All About The Money.

Women who truly are not able to dance for older customers will not be in the business for long and, as I've mentioned in other threads, are not likely to be members here on Stripper Web. If you meet a new dancer and go back looking for her a few weeks later but she's not there it could very well mean that she didn't have what it took to be a dancer. It happens all the time and "what it takes" goes way beyond a great body and a pretty smile.

By the way, you can't use terms like How long does it take you to get comfortable dancing for fat, ugly, old men? and No disrespect intended to the older customers in the same post and expect to be taken seriously. At least not by me.

Also, just thought of this - younger customers tend to be way ruder in critiquing other dancers or loving the dancer drama. They always seem up for starting some shit just for the giggles of seeing the dancers fight. Or they try to "bond" by making fun of other dancers and being way harsh on their bodies... like, why do you think I'd want to hear that shit? It just makes me uncomfortable to be around someone doing that. It's also like, why do you think you have any right to critique her so harshly when you're hardly a perfect 10 yourself? But younger guys seem to have this sense that they should always get the best no matter what they look or act like, so they're always super critical of any woman. Older guys seem to be more appreciative because they've learned the life lesson that age tends to take away the ability to still get ahead with pretty women without the proper attitude and grace.

Or maybe the older generation just has better manners in general.

yoda is right on the mark..you think we care what the guy looks like? or that we go there to wriggle around on hot young guys? we don't care about anything but the green. but IF ANYTHING i'd much rather dance on an attractive older man, young ones do nothing for me. i once had this young guy want a dance with me, but i had already told my older regular i would dance for him. this kid tried to trip my regular and shouts " hope you have fun dancing on his old grey balls". i couldn't believe it. i wanted to go over and punch him in the face. they seem to have this mind-set that we dancers are falling all over ourselves for them.

    Hey there, Musik.
    I have danced for 21-year-olds as a 19-year-old, and danced for 70-year-olds as a 19-year old, and danced for 21-year-olds as a 38-year-old, and danced for 70-year-olds as a 38-year-old.
At 19 and at 38, some of the 70-year-olds approached me & I approached some of them, some of the 21-year-olds approached me & I approached some of them.
I have been both "nervous" and completely comfortable dancing for 70-year-olds and/or 21-year-olds at 19 and at 38.
Now, I'm no math whiz (hence, maybe, all the years spent stripping) but I can tell you this:
The common denominator was, and is, the MONEY. Money money money.
Silver fox gets approached before young stud, always, because silver fox= MONEY.
Not looks, not "connection", just MONEY.

lol, freckles, my ATF started at 19 and is now a 40 year old stripper. My hunch is that you are still doing it because you are good at your job and still making a good living.
