    Question Chop chop

So I decided to say goodbye to my mohawk, as well as my dread falls, and cut my hair into a short pixie. I like it, but am not %100 sold on it yet. I really needed to get a haircut that would grow out well as I'm going to work on taking the black out of my hair slowly and start trying to get back to my natural color (platinum blonde).
Do you think that the severity of the cut will affect my money too much in the club or on cam?
Is there anything I can do to accentuate short hair/appear more femenine and approachable in the club despite the haircut? I was hoping a pixie would be easier to make money with than a mohawk or dreadlocks for me.picture087.jpg

hm....I notice some women do really well but I think it tends to be in spite of their short hair. when I'm in the club I wear a wig or a fall most of the time and only every few shifts does someone ask me if there's a girl with really short hair because that's what they like. Most of the time men compliment me on having really long hair. However, you have really gorgeous bone structure. It would depend on your body as I think spinners can pull it off better than someone like me who has a large ass and smaller boobs.

Worst case scenario-- grab some wigs and switch it up. when I first started I had super short hair like you and rocked a betty paige wig for a year or so til I had hair long enough to put in a long enough pony that a fake-hair fall could be clipped to it.

try it out! and you can always try seeing how your outfits affect it-- I bet you could dress Domme and bring in subs in the clubs who love your aggressive female look (not that you have one, but short hair plus Domme hair and makeup could easily be made into the "Aggressive Superior She" look for D/s money.)

Thank you for the reply! I guess you could consider me a spinner compared to the average body type (I'm 5'4" without heels and 110lbs).
I have tried wigs but since my stage shows are so heavy on pole work, it tends not to work out in my favor (I've had wigs fall off in front of people. Wig glue helps but is not a fix all solution). So I guess I'll keep the wigs to my camming since I work a cosplay angle.
I'll try the dom look and see how well it goes over, it really isn't too far from my current style (goth pinup). I should use a lot of the same stuff actually.

Take it from me....guys like long hair. I rocked a pixie and still made money but long hair is less bullshit.

Yea I haven't gone in with the short hair yet so I'm going to give it a test run, and if all else fails, I can buy a wig that's less anime colored and more natural. (all of my current wigs are either blues or pinks)

I would go for a long wig babe, I've got my hair cut into an edgy angled bob & it's black but I usually wear a black human hair wig which i can curl style it however. Synthetic ones work too just make sure to take the shine out of it before you wear it I did make money with my long blue one though

Is there any way to anchor the wig down other than using wig glue and bobby pins? I can never wear anything past my shoulders if I plan on doing pole work for fear of having it fly right off

I'm being honest your hair is hot. I'd buy dances from you faster than a fat kid eats twinkies. But I'm not 99.9% of heterosexual male customers. And for them that cut is too severe. Trust me on this I had a pixie. The only thing that compensated for it were my huge tits.

I'm about to get my last hair cut in the "growing out" series of the exact same haircut that you have. Now, you're hot. But you will lose money. I'm not saying that I'm the hottest chick ever, but I've worked at top clubs all over the country, and my pixie cut my money in HALF.

I'm glad I did the pixie because it was to go back natural after years of bleaching, but take it from me (and tempest666), buy a wig.

I've been thinking of doing something a little cutesy like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/PINKAGE-Full...item46124fc1ea

Might be enough to soften up my look without being too heavy for me to do a few pole trick while having it securely fastened in place.

I had a friend who basically had to shave her head when she was stripping. (There was a fire.. Long story...) Anyway, she was the master of the pole and couldn't deal with wigs during her cirque du soilel sets. So, she just sported the short hair, on stage. Off stage and during lapdances, however, she wore wigs. She bought a bunch of cheap ones in different colors and switched them up with different outfits as the night went on.. Guys seemed to like it!

Huh that is a good way to get around people asking the annoying "is that your real hair?" question if they already know. Very different take on it, thanks ^_^

Be sure to get your wigs cleaned up by a hairdresser (bangs cut, etc). It's worth the few dollars to have it look perfect.

Straight wigs are easier to maintain than curly Q's. I just got a curly one and it looks like a rat's nest.

I have a dark blue bob with bangs and a light pink bettie page style wig that are both awesome but my longer turquoise synthetic is curly and I have to keep it on a manniquin head to avoid it getting ratted out. But those are for camming, where I can get away with it easier.
I just need to get a natural colored wig for the club. Thinking either a dark auburn or black with some lowlights.

^If your make up, clothing (pink, lace etc) and jewellery is more feminie it will help to distract from your hair cut. Would you be open to the idea of stripping your hair and dying it back to platinum blonde with this hair cut? A girl I work with did this recently and I have noticed that she has been doing a lot better since (she looks edgy because of the cut, but definitely more mainstream and approachable). This would automatically make it look less alternative.

If you are really worried about your look, maybe trying out a wig might boost your confidence and make you look more mainstream?

Also, it depends on the club, but, some girls play up their alt looks and do well. Why not try to find a club that is in favour of alt girls or hires a variety of girls.

Looking like a play boy bunny definitely never hurt anyone's income in this industry, but if you work smart, act confident and have your hustle down it may not effect your income.

"True sexiness has many facets-confidence, strength, intelligence, and humor. It isn’t just about trying to look sexy; it’s an art and one becomes skillful in it when she realizes that there are all these conflicting elements that all come together to make something magical"-Dita Von Teese

I work in a dive bar, and I'm the only 'alternative' girl we have, save one girl who appears on occation. I was considering stripping/bleaching it but have had way too many traumatic experiences with lightening my hair. It would be a good idea though (I'm naturally platinum blonde).

I have four, if you count my knuckles as one piece. Nothing incredibly large. And I work at a smaller, dive type bar that caters to a mixed but mostly ethnic crowd.
