You're welcomed, it's ok to be scared if you've never danced before. It's just nervousness about the fact of taking off your clothes in front of men you don't know. Trust me, I think we've all been there on our first time. For some reason after I saw the first 1000 dollars my first night, I wasn't nervous at all anymore. It felt like second nature to me! Lol... I look at it as entertainment and performance I'm giving, so it doesn't bother me after over 9 years in the business now. Also look under the clubs because there maybe some up to date reviews on some of them. Good luck.

She shes and passions from what I have heard are pretty dirty, Visions is questionable as far as contact level and I was dicked around by management so I didn't bother but there is money there. I haven't worked at Eden but I did work at a now defunct Metarie club and loved it. Contact levels in metarie were very light and I made rediculous stage money there. The French Quarter clubs for me were a bit out of my element ( Penthouse and hustler respectively ) but I wouldn't write them off. I was happier at the dive in fat city though.

She's She's and Passions are not very good for clean, new dancers. Visions is good because customer must tip if they are by the stage. The stage is a big horse shoe stage. Michael's in Broussard is catered to new girls who have never danced before. I work there every now and then. Alot of rules and money is slow at this time, but hopefully it'll pick up. If you are a black girl it can be hard to get on,you have to look a certain way.

Michaels is very newbie friendly, aswell as traveler friendly.. I really like michaels.. & even if you go & start as a waitress I'm sure you would love it! There are a few hole in the wall places around there I didnt like any of them.. they were really, really, really nasty.. I would go straight to michaels in Lafayette area.. New Orleans I like babes, however it was on the main drag..

I've been thinking about dancing, too, and I don't think I'm ready for the Bourbon crowd either. I've been asking around and checking the club chat stuff, but haven't found much of what I'm looking for. I've heard Visions is kind of sketchy, but I think I'd be fine with a dive as long as I'm not getting like assaulted by customers every time. Does anyone know if it's really that bad? I also don't mind traveling, if it's not too far. Is there anything good around Baton Rouge now?

Visions is gross. I hear their dayshift is ok, but a lot goes on there. One of my girlfriends said she walked about of almost every dance she sold.

Keep in mind, August is here and it's very slow. I work on Bourbon at a prominent club, and it's really slowed down.

i liked the penthouse club in baton rouge, if you can drive out there. you have to get some kind of license but i think it's only $25. it's a pretty clean club and management is nice. prices for rooms and dances is around the same as places like rick's or the penthouse in new orleans but it's not super crazy, tourist-y, in a dangerous area, or open until 6am like those clubs out on bourbon so it might be a good place to start.
