Hey ladies,
I just wanted to share my favourite black liquid liner: GOSH long lasting eyeliner pen. I wear a relatively thick line of black eyeliner, and I swear by it. It's super-black, stays beautifully, doesn't smudge... HG product. The only downside IMO is once it gets to 3 months old, it gets clumpy/less opaque and needs to be replaced... which you should be doing anyways. Apparently, the other colours aren't as good... but 008 carbon black is amazing.
I'm writing because I ran out yesterday (once it starts to clump, it's done immediately, there's no saving that) and rushed over to my best friend's place to use hers. Then I bought 2 back-ups so it never happens again. I don't know what I'll do if they discontinue it and I've converted a bunch of my friends.
Just wanted to share
For comparison, here's what I think about other liners:
LORAC proline is my next favourite, but my Sephora (all Sephoras?) stopped carrying it. Relatively black, bristle brush, but smudges a bit and isn't as dark as GOSH.
Maybelline liquid liners (all three varieties: the standard one, master precise, and line stiletto) grey out really easily (20m after application) and aren't as dark/opaque.
Revlon ColorStay liner is also grey and not opaque enough. I bought it because someone on here recommended it - she said she found one in her purse and it was just as dark as when she bought it - but that hasn't been my experience at all. IMO it's cheap make-up and it's obvious a few minutes after application (like Maybelline).
Make Up For Ever liquid liner (original formula) was my first "good" liner, I used it before I found Kat Von D's tattoo liner and then the LORAC proline. Both are "okay", but again, they're not as black as I want. I don't like the bristle tips because I do a pretty thick line, and I don't want to be sitting there painting over and over - I want one bold, precise, super-black, never smudged cat eye.

My friend gave me hers (the one she got came in green/olive, and I have green eyes) and I am in HEAVEN. It sets super fast so once it's on, it's not going anywhere and you don't really have a lot of leeway for quickie touchups like with most other liners. But it will. not. budge. for hours upon hours upon hours.
