    Default Gluing on a wig?

Cam girl here... I prefer to keep my own hair shaved down to 1/8 in (practically bald). I have no hair to clip my wig on to so I just slip it over my head and use the tightening band. I have a few wigs- lacefront, regular and full lace with remy hair. I have a bit of a problem- I feel they are itchy, hot and I don't like the movement.

Should I be wearing an under cap to prevent the itchy?

Should I consider using glue as pinning the wig to my natural hair is not a possibility? Is glue hard to remove?

Also I am just curious- have any of you dancers had wig fails? Like falling off in a club, someone finding out, etc? I cannot dance right now but I am wondering about how a wig would stand up to such activity and environment like a strip club.

    Thanks!

Idk about glue....some of my friends that have had extensions in the past and used glue have had bad results. Wearing a wig cap definitely helps.

I've never had a wig fail because I change my hair so often that customers know it's a wig unless they are complete simpletons. I don't make any apologies for wearing wigs. I tell them "My hair is fake, my tits are fake and I still look awesome!"
"Fake tits are like Kevlar. They don't guarantee your chances of survival but they sure as hell improve it."

Taking some minimal precautions and doing your due diligence can have wonderful results.

    Numero Uno... scalp protector. http://www.wigs.com/product_info.php?products_id=3813
Numero Dos... don't use krazy glue (seriously some chick did this!)
Numero 3... Use a glue or tape that is sensible. That means if you remove your wig every night, use a tape/glue that is meant for daily removal. If you wear your wig for a lengthy period of time (week+) use an equally appropriate glue/tape/glue+tape-combo.
4..................Don't even think about gluing or taping anything onto your hair. Yes, your hairline will look lower, but trust me, it only looks slightly odd to you, today only, and honestly no one else will be able to tell. A centimeter of (not even that much!) difference is not a big deal. I assure you. Do not glue or tape your wig onto your hair line!!! Cuz that will eventually result in a hairline waxing ... which we don't want to begin with!
Lucky number 5... When you remove your wig use an adhesive solvent. That will help protect your skin and your hairline... plus, it can extend the life of your wig. Easy on, easy off.

I hope that helps a bit.
    Have fun!

Honestly though, a well fitted wig doesn't need tape or glue for cam stuff...

You can tape here and there... and yeah, a wig cap helps with comfort. Try things out and see what you like.

Agreed. Wig caps are great. I've never had a wig slip off, and sometimes I just use bobby pins as well.

    1. braid hair if possible (cornrow to the back, or in a beehive)
    2. wigcap
    3. scalpprotector (that's what it's called)
    4. tape or ultrahold
    5. blowdryer to dry glue or scarf and tie around perimeter of your head while the glue dries
*There are many tutorials on youtube.com about this if you want a longer hold look for ms. lola's band-aid method. It will allow a hold for weeks

Oh I forgot to mention to have some lace glue release solvent handy. It will dissolve the glue because it's not good to try to rip the wig off let me tell ya
