    Default How to lose 10 lbs fast?

    I am 5'4" and 135 lbs... I would like to get down to 125 lbs before my audition. I use to be 115 until I was hospitalized and then I packed on the pounds and haven't been able to drop 'em.

    I am a vegetarian and semi-active. I did HIIT for one hour twice a week for a month and ate SO clean and didn't lose a single pound or any inches.

    I use to get compliments on my body a lot when I was 115...I think I was a little underweight then, though. So 120-125 would be ideal...I have some pretty noticeable upper abdominal fat.

    I am willing to do pretty much anything at this point. I have been cutting my calories for the last few days down to about 800...but that hasn't yielded any results, either.

    Do any of you have any tips or tricks? Personal stories or experiences?

    you'll probably have to work out more than twice a week. if you're looking for a quick fix for an audition, cutting carbs and sodium while under 600-1000 cal (depending where u feel comfortable) will help you drop water weight fast as well as taking a laxative the day of or before but for real weight loss you will have to maintain a deficit in calories for a few months. alcohol is the worst btw...I have noticed that when I drink a lot while dieting and exercising I can still gain weight which is insane.

    you also need to drink a lot of water because you pee out your excess weight. if you cut calories a lot but don't drink enough water then that fat that your body just metabolized will be in your bloodstream without any place to go and will make you feek sick.

    If you are down to 800 cals & you don't see a change than you need to exercise at least that much to see a reduction. I would do it first thing in the morning on protein only to hold muscle, egg whites or supplement & cardio. I would go 30 minutes at least & I know tricks to the mind if you want to know.

    I lost 30 llbs on the Paleo diet. I hit the gym 4-5x a week. At this point I would recommend that you do some serious cardio. Restricting your calories is good to a certain extent. I eat about 1200-1400 a day, in the form of lean proteins and minimal carbs.

    I exersise wirh Jillian Michaels vids i found them on youtube. I just do it over a week or so. l lost 2 lb, but you have to still drink water and do not eat after 6 pm.

    You won't lose ten lbs fast. The HEALTHY way to do it is 2 lbs a week max. Anymore and you're hurting your body. Just eat clean, workout several times a week and rest. You recover easier and faster if you're well hydrated and eat the recommended calories. Don't be an idiot and work out while only eating 800 calories a day, that won't do shit but make you feel exhausted.

    All of these are good suggestions. I recommend eating as raw as possible (minus meat of course), and lots of greens. Also, calorie cycling where you have 1 cheat day a week or so.

    Ketosis: eat under or up to 50g of carbs per day (incl. sugar in fruits and veg, it's easy to do overdo the fruit thing because it's 'healthy') and mostly fats, moderate protein. Also, don't bother with exercise for weight loss, do it for the health benefits. Weight loss with exercise makes up a very small percentage of your overall results. Unless you do HIIT which is good for preserving muscle mass and touching only the fat.

    HIIT would actually be impossible to do for an hour, because you'd be dead. HIIT needs to be intense enough so you're about to almost collapse after 16 mins max. It is really painful. But it does work for sure.

    You were probably going medium intensity. Try increasing the intensity of the 'sprint' phases, so that you can only do it for 20 mins max. But build up to it if you are nto used to the intensity.

    800 calories is definetly too low. You body will slow down and turn into fat storage mode. Just count macros and keep a slight calorie deficit below your maintenence.

    The only way to drop 10lbs fast is to dehydrate using diuretics and deplete glycogen. But not recommended. That's actually the reason why bodybuilders from the 90's onwards are dropping like flies today.

    You need to be working out at least 5 times a week. Mainly cardio. Drink a lot of water and very clean (some beans and veggies). If you want a kick start, maybe for a few days before your audition, do the master cleanse (with some fruit).

    Has anyone tried Garcinia Cambodia? Supposedly it has no side effects, is natural, and suppresses appetite while balancing serotonin.

    What works for one person won't work for everyone else. I personally feel that eating clean, hard work and discipline is the only solution that helps everyone.

    It can have side effects of hepatotoxicity. Also, the clinical trials suggest the weightloss and appetite suppresion is no different to a placebo, which is the case for most supplements.

    Honestly, a strong cup of black coffee would produce a better fatloss effect than 99% of supplements being sold.

    I'd recommend things that are proven to be effective like Fish Oil, Creatine etc.

    To regulate your serotonin better, the most effective thing would be to have a 'meat and nut' breakfast as the first meal of the day.
