    Default Chin Augmentation?

I had my second consult for rhinoplasty with a new surgeon this week and he surprised me by suggesting I do a chin implant in addition to my rhino. I have heard this is a procedure that surgeon's often suggest with a rhino since it balances the face (and is a huge upsell!!) and now I'm seriously considering it. My "soft" chin has always really bothered me so, him pointing out my chin is was not out of nowhere. Still, I don't know a whole lot about getting a chin implant done. We did the digital imaging with the chin implant and I have to say, it looked really good. I think I'm going to schedule another consult so I can ask more questions about the chin specifically since I had not been prepared to ask anything when he first brought it up. Does anyone have any experience with this procedure? Thank you!!

I don't mean to sound like an ignorant, but, is there really such a thing as chin augmentation?

Sorry to sound ignorant. I guess I never though of that, for I have a noticeable chin...with dimple and all.

Every time I hear about chin implants. It seems like it's people talking about how weird it looks. Seems like they look good at first, but can migrate and look fugly a few years later.

It's entirely possible for a custom shaped silicone rubber implant to be used to augment the chin ... or cheekbones ...

Like all implants, there is some risk of the implant shifting position.

Yeah, they definitely exist. I've thought about getting it done since my chin isn't very defined, but it doesn't bother me enough to spend £4000 on it.

unless your going in for a reduction to which then its simple grinding things down

hehe but yeah Like mel said chin cheeks...you can also do jaw lines, brow and so on

Im still fighting to find a doctor whom will do mine and tack it onto insurgence ( I DO have a slight spur/deviation, but so far the ones IVe seen want to deal with JUST those and not anything noticeable >.< atleast nose wise Im not sure if Id ever do anything else to my face, atleast not until I can get a little more weight gained in there to see how things are a little more filled out
