-It can get pretty kinky, but 75% of the time it's pretty standard kinkiness! Although I do no suggest using the site if you aren't willing to explore a little. The majority of the clients are frustrated with the decline in kinky models. A lot of strictly vanilla models are joining because of the high %. But ultimately they don't make it since the majority of their traffic wants more. Mostly I get requests for collars, gags, spankings on my ass and thighs, cuffed, nipple clamps, etc. (although I have been asked for medical play a lot recently) I am a switch as well, and it's pretty even between subs and doms. Most of the subs just want the basic stuff like humiliation, sph, etc. You will need some equipment: paddle, clamps, collar, rope, cuffs, etc. But nothing too expensive. I started with just a paddle, flogger, collar, and clamps. Then you will be able to feel out your traffic & regs and see what else to get. Most guys are more into the rp of the fetish they like, and will work with what you have if you are personable. (Yesterday I did a Play Session, in my kitchen, oiled up, cuffed and ankles tied, and apple stuck in my mouth for the rp of a slave being cooked and eaten. It was sooo fun and I didn't have to do any fucking to make a TON off that show!)
-I have seen other models split cam so I assume you can. They use the same Adobe Encoder that SM uses.
-The only categories are Women, Men, & TS. They just added this in the last week or so. The site is still in beta and there are a lot of glitches sometimes, but it has gotten loads better since I started just a few months ago. I like the simplicity of the interface too. Although I'm sure its going to continue to change.
-Yes they have some good features. To model as a couple you need to both have an individual account and then whenever you start your show you add them as a guest star. Very simple! But they don't have many other features since they are still in beta. You can PM users and they can PM each other (which they do a lot, its a community feeling) The block feature only mutes the member for 24 hours but they can still watch your show. They do have a break button. The play sessions are awesome!! You can add more time to the countdown if you don't make it to goal by the end (instead of starting all over and losing all the $ already pledged!) or start it anyway. It doesn't kick you out when the timer for the show is over either. I use that as a bonus "if you aren't ready to end keep tipping we can go longer" or as a benefit to pledging "yes the timer is 10 mins but I usually go over until I feel like it." There is also a form for clients and models alike. Many clients have made fan pages (i.e. threads) for their favorite model.
-The traffic is low. It started off as a bdsm porn site and just "got into" camming. (a LOT of the clients will ask you if you are going to shoot for a certain Kink site) You wont have too many paying members in your room at the same time; less than 10. But those who are members are willing to spend for the model they like!!! They are used to paying higher rates. I don't do a cum show for any less that $200 and I have only not hit goal once! Most of the cheapos stay as annonomous users. And the full members are nice! I can sit for hours and chat with them, only do one or two shows/pvts and still bank. I LOVE the crowd there, a LOT less beggars and asshats.
And support is amazing, they pay attention to feedback. I had a glitch were my 3 min private show was seen in public. I messaged them about it and they apologized and put extra $ in my earnings! When the Play Sessions first came out, the way they displayed them was a little funky. (they put: Total Goal for X minutes! And the minimum buy in was way down at the bottom in parenthesis so clients thought they had to pay the full goal) I sent them feedback the first day they it started, and the VERY NEXT DAY they switched it around!! It made me feel sooooo good that they actually listen to model feedback and want to help them make as much as possible. They also have a weekly newsletter for models giving good tips and info on camming as well as bdsm. And they have an article written by a model on each edition. There is also a model resource area! They really care and try to help as much as possible.
