Traffic does have to come from somewhere. I would MUCH rather be promoted this way than on dating sites.
This should be good quality traffic with guys who understand what a cam show is with money to spend rather than guys who were tricked into thinking they can get a date or real sex.

we do give you the 'nuclear' option of editing the comments on your profile (although a reason is required and the original stars remain). but a reply would be more to your benefit- its basic public relations and customer service. Obviously if a profile is only getting negative reviews, there's no point of having it on there. but that would be a clue to a much bigger problem on that performer's hands...

How can you reply to a customer if you don't know who they are though? Anyone can leave a comment, whereas on Streamate only real customers can leave comments, and even if they leave it as "Anonymous" you can still look through individual sessions (the date is listed so you can look it up) and see who it was.
Additionally, not everyone is going to like what you offer. But this allows them to just talk non-stop about how they don't like what you offer, whereas on Streamate, they could just click on another model and wouldn't be allowed to leave a bad review because they didn't spend.
Streamate is promoted on a million sources though. Having 1 extra source of the thousands isn't going to make dating traffic go away. How do you even know how much traffic this site has anyway? I'm not trying to bash it, I'm just being skeptical and honest. If you didn't realize, this is a white label for Streamate which is why they only have Streamate girls showing.

skepticism is always welcome. makes me realize where the weak points of my argument are
we are not a streamate white label. we did import their performer database, but the site is not limited to sm. we support 15 cam sites and independent performers.
but you are right, we don't know if the person leaving the review actually took the performer pvt. We make sure only to approve only what appear to be genuine reviews. But the same is for any online review site- there's no guarantee that the person doing the review actually tried the restaurant, place, service, professional, company, product, etc. Eventually though, enough reviews get added about it and you get a realistic idea of what to expect.

You are a white label though and should probably be upfront about that if you want people to trust you. I just checked. Your affiliate ID # is: 1-025 and your white label is , which is exactly the white label that any potential customers will sign up through. So while you may have other sites like reviewmycam, all the signups go to the rabbitcams whitelabel that you own or you are partnered with. Idk. you should probably not try to hide things like that that are very clear if you know what you are looking for. Now I am not being mean, I am just pointing these facts out for everyone to see.

Okay my last post on this, but you do link to Streamate.com chat rooms (aside from rabbitcams) with your other affiliate code: "1-0-632119-344793". So this does not benefit girls in the sense that they make money off signups. It is still a whitelabel. A creative one, but still one.

How do we have our profile removed?
Apparently I have reviews from 2012 which are, no surprise, awful. As opposed to my 100+ 5 star positive comments and reviews from paying customers on Streamate. It's no surprise that negative comments will be overflowing on a site that lets anyone and their grandma write a review regardless if they spent a dime in the performers paid chat or not. This is just a breeding ground for trolls.
Comparing this type of free for all review system to any other type of review system for every day products is a little off.... Obviously we as cam performers are subjected to a lot more "abuse" than every day products. No one walks into a restaurant and demands a free meal, and then writes a bad review of the place when they didn't get the free meal they demanded.
To say that eventually it will even out and the true picture of our quality of show will over take the negative comments seems a little.... naive. How will we even get our actual paying customers, the ones that matter, to go to this site and review us anyway when we can't even mention other sites on streamate at all for fear of an infraction? Sure I could post it to my 11k+ twitter followers and ask them to write some nice reviews but then, most of them have never seen my show anyway so it becomes false positive reviews which are no more a true picture of a performers show than the false negative ones.
Like as an example, I just checked out a random profile and the comment reads "Attempted to see her show. Started off nice, then became too pushy." This is accompanying a 1 star review. So I am assuming this guy was in FREE chat, and the performer was nice at first and then began to hustle the guy in free chat and then he thought she was "pushy". So now she gets a 1 star "review" because a freeloader did not like being hustled in an environment that is all about women hustling for shows! Come on.
The chances that a paying customer would dislike a show and NOT leave a bad review on Streamate, yet go to a 3rd party site to leave a bad review seem kind of slim. Which is why it's absolutely no surprise that out of all my 143 comment on Streamate maybe 2? are semi negative. Yet all my reviews on this 3rd party site are negative. No coincidence there. Kind of like when Streamate implemented the tagging system for anyone to tag a performer, the amount of negative tags flowed in while the number of negative reviews - which only paying customers can leave - remained the same. The freeloaders and douche bags are the ones that will flock to the ability to write free reviews when they don't get their way with models in free chat.

Well I am used to negative crap. It's guys who are haters pure and simple. If you can take that comment down or "fix" it, I am fine with that.
But, I do have a major hater/stalker on LJ. So I am only leaving up Chaturbate as my main site anyway. Not that he won't find me, he will.
I count more on my regulars to comment from Chaturbate, and they are damn cool.
I can not promote the site while working so... how do guys from Chaturbate find me there and rate me if they wish too?
If I put this on twitter, I promise it may go viral on your site with haters. They all are from LJ.

Question. Crista, how do we get the traffic to Chaturbate? I can not promote this site while working, how to go about this then, It seems SM friendly, but what about the other sites? Sorry to ask I never had promotion before. But got a review!!!!! How do they find me from CB?

your default site is chaturbate, so your thumb and green Visit image all lead to your chaturbate room when you're live. in the coming weeks we'll be integrating chaturbate's api with our site, so whenever you'll be live you'll get as much priority as SM is getting (on main page, top cam girls, search results and similar performers section on other performer profiles). for now you can tweet your profile to get fans to rate you, we do our best to not approve fake reviews and those that dont give any value (just insults or personal).

Sarah, the comments on your profile date to back when we allowed public reviews, without user registration. I can remove them and you can start fresh, but if you still want us to drop the profile, then that's ok, just PM me.
If you look at SM, its VERY hard to find girls with less than 4 stars. If users were to trust those stars, it would seem 95% of performers do only perfect shows! That is not to say your 5 star ratings are not genuine. But in our opinion, the 5 star rating a performer has would be much more credible if they were not all, or almost all perfect marks. after all, you're human![]()

The star rating you see on a performers profile is based off the 90 day average of all their ratings. All of us receive our fair share of less than 5 star ratings, but our average is what shows on our profile, which is fair wouldn't you say? Just because I have a 5 star rating doesn't mean every single review I get is 5 stars, because it's not.
And why is it that 95% of performers have 4 or 5 star ratings? Could it be because the guys spending money on these shows, the guys that matter, are actually happy with their money spent? I also find it interesting that the overwhelming majority of people who leave me less than 4 stars almost all 1) stay for less than one full minute and 2) don't leave a comment with their rating. I wish they would leave a comment so I know why they left a bad rating, however since they almost all stay less than a full minute when they leave me a bad rating it seems obvious that they are just trolling or looking for me to be naked and pounding my ass with a 16 inch dildo in less than 59 seconds. Less than a full minute is not enough time to see a performance, let alone judge one.
Since your site allows anyone and everyone to leave a review regardless if they have seen a show or not, I guess I just don't see the point. If the point is for people to be able to judge our free chat, then okay I guess this accomplishes that, but still does not benefit me at all to be judged by people who are butthurt that I didn't do what they wanted for free. I get that you are an affiliate of Streamate and therefore you are in the business to make money off this website, and that's fine. I just don't see how it would benefit us as performers to be judged by people who have never spent a dime on us.
And yes, I would like to have my profile removed. I don't have time or desire to police a profile for freeloader comments.

Wow ladies. I don't know what to think about all this.
Sam said she had crazy traffic from the site and made 1/3 of her goal in ONE night. I would love that!
My traffic lately has been horrible and I'm trying to find some good ways to increase it. I've tried so many things to help my traffic but I never seem to see real results.
Ugh, logged in and just checked my profile - i have 5 profile views. not good.
I'm wondering Sam, how do you know that's where the traffic came from? Maybe it's the other way round? Maybe you are the one sending traffic to them and it came from somewhere else?
If you are signed up and you want your profile removed from the site, you can just message for that right? Or is there an option to take your profile off the site yourself once you have an account?
I see the delete account option, but does that remove my SM profile from the site, or just take away my account/ability to control my listing?
