How long have you been dancing? If youre fairly new, your body just isnt used to it yet. Your skin should toughen up over time.
I remember when I first started dancing my legs looked awful with bruises all over them from doing pole tricks and floor work. Now, eight years later, I rarely get bad bruising from work.
Make sure youre getting proper nutrients. I know if you are deficient in some areas of your diet, you are more susceptible to bruising.
Oh and I cant see your pic missincere!


Arnica both topical and the under the tongue help them heal faster. Epsom salt baths are heaven.
Time. You're skin gets used to the abuse and you learn how to move. Granted every new move you learn often means New bruises if you're constantly adding new tricks to your pole and floor work.



Idk why the hell the pic isn't showing lol. But they look awful. It looks like I've been beaten on my legs with sticks.
I'm a few years in to dancing and my knees still get bruised every time I work. I think if I worked more often, they would get more used to it, but I just rock over the knee socks to both hide and cushion my knees.





Im currently working at a club with a hard wooden stage & even with my stockings /socks it still kills my knees when I'm performing :/ I'm gonna switch clubs very soon though bc I've been dancing awhile now so there's no reason I should still be bruising this bad.

You should also start taking Iron supplements.





Iron supplements, lots of water & arnica are def your friend. Tall socks too, & I highly recommend tall boots as you can wear multiple layers of socks & many boot styles go over the knee. Great for concealing a brace or ace bandage. Also there is a move I found to help my knees immensely, whenever I was moving around on all fours, I put all my wgt on the platforms of my shoes & just kind of slow-shuffled my way abt instead of using my knees. Esp since I had on tall black boots & black socks, you couldn't tell my knees were not on the floor.
