Default cosmetic work in the DR

Hey ladies, a friend of mines came back from the Dominican republic and got some amazing work done. The cost 4,000 for the fat transfer to her hips and butt .her waist is snatched and her ass is perfect . but I was wondering is getting work down there safe ? Why is it so inexpensive .does anyone have any experience with getting cosmetic surgery in places like the DR?

Did she get a tummy tuck?

I know they say it isn't safe to go out of the country for plastic surgery but I think if you do your research you will see that there are some amazing surgeons outside of the US. I am hoping to go to Mexico and have some work done at the beginning of the year.

A lot of it is hospital costs. They Don't have the insurance premiums as In other first world coUntries. Combined with an overall lower cost of living and the higher trading value of the dollar. they are often more low tech having people dOing things that machines in the usa do. It's a lot of reasons.

If you do your research well you can often get a USA trained plastic surgeon, a nice hotel and air fair plus your surgery for less than the cost in the usa. Not to mention access to this not fda approved if that's your deal, not as big of a deal anymore with silicone avail in the states now.

    .

Not so much of a tummy tuck they took most of the fat from the sides. She actually had to put on some weight to get it done .

I have been researching a little and found 2 that are very popular . but I've always had this concept that good things Dont come cheap. But the price difference is amazing . a doctor in my area charges 11,000 for the same procedure is never pay that .

PM me the docs name please?

I'm still on the fence whether or not I'll go out of the country or just go to a Miami doctor.

More $ doesn't always mean better, but doing it stateside means if something goes wrong you can just go back to the surgeon easily. That will be more difficult when you have to leave the country.

I had work done in Venezuela and Colombia and a bad experience in DR not because the doctor wasnt good but because I went through a medical tourism company that completely ripped me off and left me with no where to stay or no way to communicate with them. I had to go to court to get my money back. Do research but there are many good surgeons in DR my friend came back looking great and I had lipo in Venezuela and boobs and fat transfer in Colombia and I am super duper happy. Good look

    lots of reasons ...

    - disgruntled patients aren't allowed to sue the doctor for millions of dollars, thus malpractice insurance premiums for the doctor are much lower ( vs US doctors who are forced doctor to increase 'prices' to cover malpractice insurance premium costs )

    - doctors and hospitals are not forced to provide medical care to 'poor' patients for free, meaning that 'paying' patients don't have to be overcharged to cover not only their own treatment costs but also someone else's

    - 'labor' rates for medical professionals are far lower, due to both the lower cost of living plus significantly lower tax rates.

    - overhead costs for the doctor's office and hospital are far lower, since they don't have to 'jump through hoops' doing insurance company and government paperwork.

personally speaking, Thailand has probably received the most private investment to construct new 'world class' hospitals, and has attracted the most 'world class' doctors, catering to medical 'tourism'.
