heres some other info: There are no monthly fees to use the platform. There is a 10% fee that comes off the top, it covers processing, chargebacks, reserves, etc. The first-off revenue share is 51% Model / 49% ModelCentro. You can refer friends. Every referral results with an increase of your share by 1% for 1 year up to a maximum revshare of 75% to you and 25% to ModelCentro.
Sam let me know if you joined, I'd give you the credit![]()
Just signed up! Thanks Sam.I'd love to give you credit too if that's possible.

Is there any info about ownership of content?
Also, it doesn't look very customizable. I saw three 'skins' but that's it.
I signed up....I wouldn't use it as my main site, because I want as much control as possible, but it's something to use for promotion.

49% is a lot for them to take IMO. I know it would cost 20-30% just for upkeep though (hosting, payment processor fees, etc).
Q & As:
1.) Does the 49% they take include all payment fees?
A: No, 10% is deducted off the top beforehand, and then they take 49%... So you actually pay them over 60%
2.) What is the payment processor? CCBill? Epoch? Zombaio? Something else?
A: payment processor is CentroBill (), where we combine multiple processors, no registration fees, no set up fees, etc.
3.) What is the CMS they use? Is it as advanced as ElevatedX?
A: CMS is our platform (that doesn't make sense but okay), it's all a single integrated platform, it's easier to use then elevatedx, you can get a free signup and test it out.
4.) How customizable are the skins? Their stuff is very to-the-point, which isn't bad, but are we able to add in our own logos and widgets?
A: Right now customization is limited, i.e. most stuff is cusotmizeable but you can't add your own code, you will be able to do that in the future
5.) Who owns the content and stage name? Do we 100% retain the rights to our stuff?
A: yes, you do, it's your domain, your content, your copyright
6.) Can we pick the prices we charge?
A: yes
7.) Are we able to integrate our Streamate profile into the live show option?
A: not yes, but that's on our list for january
8.) What is the name of their affiliate program? I know it says coming soon on the site.
A: affiliate program will be part of the platform, new, it will be released in Q1 2014
9.) What is their existing traffic like?
A: traffic right now is driven by the model, via her/his fan base (until the affiliate program launches)
10.) Who are the models who already have sites with them so I can ask questions?
A: this is beta, we are in process of setting up about 20 models who have signed up, i'll paste some samples
Here are a few examples like you asked. - that's Kimberly - content upload in progress <http://breabenett.modelcentro.com/> <http://zafira4free.modelcentro.com/> - content upload in progress There are currently 3 fully functional skins ready to be customized: <http://passion.demo.modelcentro.com/> Also separate one for mobile:
11.) Are we able to integrate this site into Streamate's Gold Club signups? I know some girls have successfully done that with their sites.
A: Yes, but right now you have to deal with streamate on this, we are trying to get a deal to be automatically integrated with them.
12.) What SEO features does it come with?
A: right now it's limited, sites are optimized, and we will expand on that in the future when we provide full template editing options.
13.) What happens if we want to transfer off of this site with our content, with a different CMS, payment processor, and splash page... Would we be able to do that in the future?
A: you can do that of course, the only issue is dealing with rebilling members, you either wait till they expire (leaving access to old members) or we refund any outstanding pro rated membership fees (like if someone paid for a year ahead)
14.) When will our sites launch if we make a site with you?
A: you can launch it today technically, but i mean on average it will take you a little bit of time to upload content, add metadata, etc.. it's all automated you will have a site as soon as you signup

So basically... they are a brand new site with zero traffic who takes 60% or more. That's no worse than Streamate's Gold Club... but Streamate comes with traffic. They offer a lot of stuff, and are very advanced and up-to-date with technology, but if you pay 2-4k out of pocket, you could literally keep an extra 35% of what you make at least. But it is promising. Especially if they do get contracted with Streamate... but then again, people often say whatever to make you think whatever they think you want to hear. I'm just being skeptical.
HOWEVER, if you were not going to have a members site, you may as well do this maybe? Its not a bad idea if you weren't going to do anything at all. Might be good for a secondary site too.

I have my site through plumperpass, so NOT with Adult centro.
GlamourMilf you have many good points, they are still in the beta testing process so some of them only time will tell.
Most webmasters do a 50/50 split with models so this is nothing new. On the same hand, most webmasters don't know what they are doing & flake out on the girls within months. If they ever get the girls site built at all. Many guys pretend to be webmasters so they can get your content from you & jack off.
This is just an option I think is good for many girls who already make content for c4s & such out their to monetize their content & marketing efforts.
#1 biggest problem girls have is a decent webmaster. Surely there will be kinks to work out along the way, that is the web or any new business venture.
Please contact adultcentro for any issue you may have. https://twitter.com/centronatalie
Happy Holidays,

Good questions to ask. I also think 49% is pretty low. However, I'm glad if you refer you can go up to 75%. My only problem is if you can get a payment processor and a designer, why not just host, SEO, and drive traffic to yourself so that you can receive the most of your indy site? I know Mark at CMD will let you put buttons on your site using his processor if you're apart of CMD and that's 75% profit.

Believe In Your Brand

They actually take more than 49% because they take 10% first.
So say you make $1,000 per month. They will automatically deduct 10% first for payment processing which leaves $900. Then they take 49% which leaves you with only $459 of the $1000 that was brought in. So you are making closer to 45-46%. They take over half.
I really do like their features though.

I don't know them but if you want a site you can always go over to Dreamnet. They have been in business 15 years and the performers are pretty happy there. More info is at http://www.dreamnet.com/sw/become-a-dreamgirl/

As a solo site owner I can tell you getting traffic especially the 1st year is the hardest.
Sam
Hi everybody, I'm the Natalie Sam mentioned (the one on twitter, so you can hit me up here also, or at natalie (a) modelcentro.com, skype natalie.ac with any specific questions you don't want to post)
First of all, thanks Sam for starting the thread. I really am getting great feedback on our new platform here, which is greatly appreciated.
Most of the questions so far are answered already looks like, but I'll be here in case there's more. A couple of my own points and questions:
"Also, it doesn't look very customizable. I saw three 'skins' but that's it."
There are three skins+1 mobile currently availbale that could be customized failry throughly - you are able to change wording, color shemes, images in background, headers, splash page etc. The best part is that it's all done through the interface - no need to request changes, go through 3-4 "specify what you want" e-mails and then wait for days till it's done as you would in most cases. Don't feel like a green background today - change it to purple. Don't want it to say "Welcome to my official site" - change it to "What's up", tired of the same header pic - remove it and add a new one. Really easy to use editor. As to adding banners or other code - we will be able to do that manually for you.
"CMS is our platform (that doesn't make sense but okay)"
We made our own CMS for this, no outside code.
Regarding the rate of revenue share:
Even though AdultCentro has been a big player in the x business for a long time, this project we have just launched in beta, so there are a lot of things we are going to learn as we go. What I want to assure is that we want to be doing it right.
The current setting deduces overhead of the processing company - we want to make sure you know we're in it together. That's why revshare with no money down on performer's side was our primary choice - we want to be making money with you, not against you, and we're confident the platform can deliver a decent profit to both MC and performer.
GlamourRouge, re: "49% is a lot for them to take IMO"
As you said, MC share also is influenced by hosting, user and model support, platform expenses and further development so it surely isn't a 49% pure profit for us.
Same for performer - you make investment in your website - time, beauty treatments, clothes etc, which we are also keeping in mind here. It's difficult to evaluate the exact ins and outs and the bottom-line profit share.
I'd really like to hear your opinions on how this should be done. What do you believe the fair share would be? Would it be better if we took care of all expeses and just offered the bottom line, or is it better to be "in the same boat" and deduct some (as now - processing) or all expenses from the share (in the latter case it would be entirely transparent, but probably much more complicated).
Thanks again everybody! Happy Holidays!
Off topic.. I thought I was clicking on the link you put in for dreamnet, but my mouse must have moved (I multi task lol) and got to your blog.. I have to say the photo of you in the princess maybe costume and the one of you on the bed in your shorts is absolutely stunning!!

NatalieCentro: I think the 49% would be fair if y'all are providing at least some traffic for us. As it is, generally if we're bringing all our own traffic, the % we're getting is a lot higher. Sorry if I missed if this was discussed before, my brain's been a bit fuzzy lately.
Thanks for joining the conversation and answering questions!
Hi Jane, even though ModelCentro is new, the company has been around for a very long time. Its predescessor, adultdesign.com has been a part of the X industry since 1998.
By the way, since we still have the awesome, experienced design team, we are also accepting requests for custom site desgigns for those who wish to cover the extra cost.
Tsani, It's my pleasure, thanks.
Our main goal is to be and stay technologically superior. We are going to add a new skin every month, develop many features and introduce advanced capabilities while keeping the interface very simple.
In that, and in light of what GlamourRouge talked about regarding customization, I would also appreciate all opinions regarding what would be most important for you. Is there anything you would be looking for specifically in terms of customization options?
If you could give an example of a site you think is awesome that would be great too.
We have updated our revenue split % as we got some feedback from Many models that have signed up already.
Model payout right now stands @ 75% for traffic you send yourself.
Upsells are also paid @ 75% and up to 85% for physical good sales.

I can mask the ur with one I have already purchased right? Im not huge on the modelcentro part of the url
Love this site though. I do think that a 50/50 split is fair and anything below is meh for me. But I would love to use this for my dom site. Signing up to give it a try =)
Hi DiamondCupcakes,
Yes of course you can use your own domain, subdomain is something that's automatically set up when new account is created. We even provide 1 free .com domain you can register as our launch promotion. You will own the domain. Looking forward to working with you!

Ok thanks. And is there a cap on how much you can charge? I tried doing a yearly price and it wouldn't go above $103.33 for some reason
For example, if you say you want to charge 300 USD for 180 days, the option will say 50.04/month (billed in one installment...)
So no, there's no limit on the amount.
We have now streamlined our pricing structure to make it easier to understand and adjusted it based on the feedback that we received.
Now it's fairly simple:
Billing - 10%
Model - 75%
ModelCentro - 25%
ModelReferral - 10% of ModelCentro's Revenue.
