St. Tropez Mousse: Dark. Natural and even looking... long lasting... tinted formula so you know what you've covered and which spots you've missed.

L'Oreal Sublime Bronze WIPES: Inexpensive, natural looking, buildable color... use one wipe or two... or three if you dare!

I use fake bake and it works good for me. It looks very natural, not orange looking.

Banana boat self tanning lotion works so good!! very natural looking, doesn't get greasy, doesn't smell bad, no glitter.. all around just a good cheap self tanner.

first i use the buildable loreal bronze stuff for a day or two ( i love the spray, and the gel. i kind of use them together), then at work i use sally hansen over the top to look wicked dark.

I like the Salon Bronze Airbrush line from Sally Beauty Supply. I prefer "brown" over "orange" or a "subtle glow" and this seems to be the only one to deliver.

I spray at a salon and hate norvelle but their new one that process in 3-5 hours is just like what they spray you with and super convenient. You can put it on a few hours before you take a shower and your as dark as getting spray tanned. Only bad thing is it's really hard to use unless your versed in spraying yourself. It comes out like a real sprayer and it was all over the hotel. Oops. Other than that if I have time to do it at night I use a mix of the norvelle lotion one and one I get a ulta that's a spray called so bronze. Neither of those look good alone but together they are fantastic!

I really like the Victoria Secret self tanning lotion. I'm very fair, and it gives me a good color without looking orange, and you can build it up to get darker. Plus it has a bronzer in it which makes it easier to apply evenly.

The old formula didn't have that self-tanner smell, though since they've changed it I've noticed it more. It's not too strong, though. Hasn't stopped me from using it.

Haha, no, different stuff. That's the spray on one, the one I am talking about is the lotion. Yes, the spray one is VERY strong, especially in a small enclosed room. It does work well, but the smell is a little much.

Jergens 3 day tan. But I prefer to get airbrushed at a salon. I found a new one in the westside of LA called Bronzed. Very reasonable, I've had mine for 9 days now. They have early bird and trainee specials for $29 and below.

Did you notice a big difference between a person doing it and a booth? Cuz I've had a booth or two malfunction, so I'm sort of exploring my options.

Huge difference. Will never use a booth again. I can never remember the positions and I hate getting that crap up my nose!

^ Hi Dorein! I'm scared to use the booth. I'd rather do myself if there's absolutely no one that can spray me before a trip. That way if I fuck up I can only blame myself.
