Default Creeps hitting on my customers?

First I really hope this is the right thread and if not I apologize >_<

I work in an adult store (full disclosure - I'm a cam girl, too). There's a club right up the road from us, so we get a few dancers in before it opens. Normally there isn't any problems but tonight, a guy decided to start hitting on a girl/one of my customers.
I just sort of stood there and crossed my arms and made sure he knew that I was watching him because really? Our store is not your love connection...
I could tell that she was just like "Uhh this is random but I'm going to be nice to you and see maybe if you'll end up coming to the club" 'cause I get it. She was answering his questions and knew I was nearby too.
It got weird when I was ringing her up and he brought up his niece that's in the hospital? And then was asking her about her son ("what color hair does he have?")... I was just glaring at him because - imho - that's just down right creepy. Before she left she sort of gave me a look like "wtf this guy". I know the club she works at has body guards if he decided to show up and act shady.

Should I have said something to him? I didn't want her to lose a potential customer, and I didn't want our store to, either. (Our company policy is never do anything that would jeopardize a future visit)
I just don't want to step on anyone's toes. I didn't want to be like "Man those are some personal questions for someone you just met lol" and have him be like "I didn't ask you" and then make everything super awkward. I'm probably just over thinking it?

Honestly, that's very clean for a customer to bring up with a dancer. He probably likes her and thinks he's got a shot like most custys. What were you gonna say to him? Leave this random customer of ours alone so I can ring her up? Lol I don't see the big deal.

she's probably used to that, and im sure she wouldn't stop coming to your store over some weirdo..you have no control over that. plus its a sex store, everytime i go into the one near me to buy stripper heels i get strangers eyeballing me and trying to strike up conversation. and like you said, maybe she was trying to get him in the club
its very nauseating when you have to witness crap like that, so i feel ya. i think there is definitely a line where annoyingness ends and serious harassment starts tho. if it went further than i would say that you would have every right to step in and be like " sir..you need to leave"

Yeah, it's a tricky sitch for sure..& kinda borderline-ish. But really, it seems it'd be up to her to cut him off, or not. Maybe she was trying to cultivate him as a potential custy. & yeah I go to sex shops, & hate getting eyeballed too..I've had guys try to hit on me..but then it happens in other places too..
The other day, I was talking to a guy after my support group, & this weirdo random dude was trying to 'close in on me' I sidestepped him & he got the message (or seemed to) & stayed away..

That's very cool of you for wanting to help, but I think you're right about overthinking it.

PS I went to buy a wig the other day and there was a dude watching through the front window of the store. While I tried on wigs. The whole time.

Thanks! Yeah it was sort of like I wanted to say something, but only if she wanted me to ('cause she's more than capable, I know)... I just weirded me out since it was the first time it ever happened on my watch (people tend to leave others alone if they didn't come to the store with them), and he was sort of lingering where ever she went.. He paid with a card so if something bad happens out of it, we have his first and last name, so that calms me a little.
The more I think about the more I wonder why he didn't realize she wasn't interested in dating him. She was talking to him like he was a kid lol

^I think that you did the right thing. She didn't have to have a conversation with him, I certainly wouldn't have. If this happens again and you want to intervene a simple, "I'm sorry to interrupt, but can I help you with anything sir" to him gives her the chance to "escape" the convo' and move away from him while you are talking to him, without you loosing either customer.
